Our family of four holidayed in Zambia in September 2016. We stayed at Sausage Tree Camp on the Lower Zambezi for 3 nights and had an incredible stay. Our hosts Yuri and Ashleigh supported by their team went above and beyond to deliver special experiences that our family will never forget. STC is situated on the river which offered some...

Amazing experience at Sausage Tree Camp. We enjoyed 2 lovely nights there and can't say enough about how great the staff were. I enjoyed some fishing for Tiger Fish while the others delighted in some game drives. We all had memories to share when we got together for our "beach lunch". What a wonderful location!!!

This was one of the best - if not the best - experiences I've had in my 4 trips to Africa. From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, the attention to detail and the experience is second to none. It starts when you are picked up at the Jeki airstrip and see animals while driving to the...

We loved our experience at this place! The final air flight to Jeki air strip from Lusaka was awesome, then the trip to the mighty Zambesi River to be taken to the Camp was just amazing. Seeing the elephants, hippos, leopards with a kill, lions, also with kill, zebra, crocodiles by the hundreds feasting on a hippo, baboons, monkeys, hyena, impala,...

Arriving in Sausage Tree Camp looked like a scene out of the Garden of Eden.. Elephants, buffalo, hippo and egrets were all abundant in the grassy islands adjacent to the main camp area. There were elephants regularly in front of my tent, sometimes obstinately blocking my precious river view... Alas. ; ) While the setting is truly wild, the camp...

Excellent in every respect. The "tent" was one of the more luxurious of the 6 places we stayed during our 2 weeks in Zambia. The food was excellent. The staff was excellent as well, providing very personal attention. The daily activities are flexible which allowed for an individualized experience. I went with a friend and we had a guide (who...

My wife and I went here primarily for fishing for Tiger Fish. We were assigned a guide who was with us for all our activities. He had a wealth of knowledge about the area. His understanding of the plants and animals was second to none. He was also an effective communicator of everything he knew. The game drives, walking safaris,...

Ashley and her team, especially Nathan, the chef, and Brian, the barman, run a very good camp.
