Service was overall excellent and the rooms were always clean and tidy. i enjoyed the surroundings and definitely recommend it for any future visitor. My only request is to reconsider your restaurant menu, especially when it comes to dinner. Buffet does not work for everyone, especially Namibians.

The overall experience was very good, except for the service. On our arrival, we were received very friendly, but from their the service were average. Especially when we went for dinner. We had to wait very long for our drinks before dinner. Also, the next day when we relaxed at the swimming pool, nobody service us and we had to...

After a four and half hour bus ride on a seemingly endless bumpy road, we reached our destination of the day. It's in the desert, but the lodge has every comfort a civilized society can offer. The lodge compound itself is amazing with very well designed landscaping and site plan. It even provides a swimming pool! The onyxes are such...

I am not sure whether all the Gondwana lodges recently down scaled on their menus, but we found both Damara Mopane Lodge and Namib Desert Lodge lacking against the cuisine of Etosha Safari Lodge . We went to Etosha Safari Lodge in May this year and the quality and quantity of the buffets are far different than those of the...

Spending three days at Namib Desert Lodge was a wonderful time just within a magnificient region. The small houses are arranged in a very convenient way, and just a couple of metres away lots of Oryx are coming and going to the waterhole. You can also make a walk by your own to the fossilised dunes experiencing a breathtaking view...

We've visited many Gondwana Lodges by now and we've liked all of them. However, Namib Desert Lodge is very big and accomodates many tourists, especially big group tours. And as we prefer travelling individually, we favor the other Gondwana Lodges. However, the facility is very clean and welcoming, I didn't like the curio shop though. I was told that the...
