we had a wonderful time at the Huab lodge making new friends and relaxing. My daugher had a great birthday here with the staff the singing in Damara to her. Dinner, breakfast and lunch is eaten with eveyone else around the long table. Although a little disconderting at first you grow into this with everyone sharing stories. The kids ate...

It is a nice place located in a beautiful quiet area. The rooms are wooden cottages with nice views. It is a bit expensive, but the price includes all the meals and three activities per day (walks and drives around the area). The owners are very nice. When you arrive, they introduce you to the rest of the guests and...

Loved it here. 2 night stay - too short. Expensive - but worth it. Fabulous staff, wonderful rooms, fantastic food, best hosts. Don't go for just one night - it's a fair drive - another 35km once you turn off the main road. And you will certainly regret having to leave after just one night........... We had such a lovely...

We spent 3 nights here & could have stayed for a week. We absolutely loved it. Great location & real fun having to walk across the river after the rains. Jaap, Johann, Cathy, Monika & all the staff spoiled us rotten. The food is out of this world as is the copious quantities of wine served very generously by Jaap....

Wading across the Huab River to the lodge just added to the adventure. Beautiful setting, lovely lodge, lovely friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you. My partner is in a wheelchair and he was cermoniously carried across the the river by Johann, Harry and an assortment of characters. Jaap and Cathy the managers were brilliant. It does seem expensive...

We were recommended by another forum member to try this place as we had discounted it from other guide books descriptions. We were not disappointed. I have just read the other reviews of this place and have to say I cannot think we were in the same place as the one negative post. There is a clear sign at the...

This fantastic place is a small cozy family-run lodge with all conveniences located in a rather remote and undisturbed countryside. Huge nicely furnished bungalows with private terraces. No TVs or cell phone reception here. A hot spring. Great reception by the owners. Great bird watching. If you (or your wife) happen to like some ethnic jewellery in their small shop,...

Huab is very isolated but a fairly easy drive on well maintained gravel roads. Due to lack of signage, we had to ask locally for directions . The big disappointment for us was the lack of animals. We did see one eleptant track in 3 days but no elephant. The owners were away (at Etosha) and the remaining staff very...

At the end of a 35km gravel road, Huab Lodge can feel rather isolated but once there the staff and overall ambiance are wonderful. The villas are gorgeous and look out over the river bed, the central areas are laid out really well and the pool/spa areas small but wonderfully scenic. We were looked after extremely well by Hermann and...

Beautifully situated lodge at a private road about 30 km from the main road from Khorixas to Kamanjab. It has its own small airfield. It is an all inclusive lodge with very good food, and goed wines as well. There are 8 bungalows for in total 16 people situated in there own game park. We had an absolute great time...
