My Family and I decided to go to Mozambique from 26 December 2016 to 3rd January 2017. A first time for us as we had never been to Mozambique. After searching for the perfect location with the help of Trip Advisor we arrived at a very Hot Vilanculos and were welcomed by Osvaldo and his team at Palmeiras Lodge -...

I stayed here for 4 night in November. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms spacious and clean, and have nice little terraces. The breakfast is big, fresh and amazing. It is very nicely located right on the beach. I can highly recommend this place!

Lovely spacious rooms this lodge is simple and in traditional style with all the modern extras such as hot water and aircon. Positioned right on the beach it has a great location to the town. The staff are also wonderful and very helpful. Would suit couples and families alike.

Osvaldo and his crew run this lodge with the most caring hands you can imagine. No request seems to be too much. For example when my shirt was accidentally torn one of the guys took it to a seamstress at the market who duly repaired it. Being a family of four we had two chalets connected by an interleading door...

Palmeira's is a beautiful and most hospitable lodge to stay at in Vilanculos. The two lodges that we stayed in were beautiful, had comfortable double beds, working air conditioning (very helpful at night time when it's warm outside), and without a doubt the most hospitable, welcoming, friendly and dedicated staff. Oswaldo, Alfonso and the team were as helpful as they...

Do yourself a favour and stay here if ever you find yourself in Vilancoulos. My wife and I stayed in one of the lovely cabins at Palmeiras Lodge for four days last winter and, you know what? - we wish it had been longer. For a very reasonable price, you get to hear the waves hushing you to sleep at...

The staff- from manager Osvaldo to the guard- were all extremely helpful, kind and friendly. The grounds are beautiful ... like a tropical paradise. Cute cottage type rooms were modern, clean & comfortable. The dining area is a beautiful outdoor setting,...
