Whilst living on Nosy Komba for one month, it was nice to go to Ambatolouka and stay at this hotel for a change. Great service, the staff were very nice to me. Although on New Year's Eve, our room got flooded with toilet water, it was disgusting, and it smelled terribly. My friends and I went to the reception to...

Good location Helpful staff (except one rude woman behind the bar) Nice room except no door to the toilet Good beach view That's all the good stuff which was completely overshadowed by aging French gentlemen who elicited favours from young Malagasy girls who in confusion could accidentally knock on your door by mistake. The overt attitude of the owner presumably...

Whilst volunteering on a neighbouring island, I spent most weekends at this hotel. Amazing location, stunning beach and the rooms are spacious and with AC and hot water for such a good price, can't recommend it enough.

Room had a damp smell and the bathroom had a window where the locals could walk by and actually look in on you. We only stayed here as we were absolutely exhausted from flying and it was late at night. 40 euros for the room too, I felt like I needed to ask for my pants back. We left the...

The Hotel is right at the beach in the centre of the village. There were different room rates from 30 to 80 € but only the rooms over 55 € (discounted) were acceptable. If they give you a discount you better insist on a written offer since I had problems when I checked out ‘cos they charged me the official...

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights en route and coming back from Mitsio. Good, clean rooms close to the local bars and lovely deck to sit and have a few sundowners. The beach below is tide dependent and you will get harrassed by the locals if you wish to try and tan there. Service was good but the credit...

After taking our booking and later a deposit for a beach side bungalow, we arrived to find no record of our booking, the staff unfriendly and unhelpful and no mention of our 90 euro deposit we paid by telephone some months earlier. Luckily we found another place down the beach, which was fantastic with great staff. This may be back...

We have spent 2 nights in the hotel. Room was expensive compared to other hotels. We had booked the (more expensive)room with "panoramic view": room was on the 1st floor. If you went out the room onto the terrace (shared with 3 other rooms) you had a beautiful view on the sea. However, the room was very old fashioned. Cupboard...
