The location is right on the sea, just a short walk through garden full interesting art work we stayed in room 1 which had a nice view over the gardens to the sea, which we could hear. The location of the restaurant must be one of the best. Food served was excellent breakfast looking out to sea, dinner more romantic...

We chose The Gambia for the hot temperature and only 6 hr flight from London. We chose Ngala Lodge for the great reviews - and so glad we did! We had a beautiful holiday, relaxing by the pool, walking on the beach, and generally being looked after by the wonderful staff. We stayed in Room 10 - spacious, ground floor,...

We have just returned from our holiday at Ngala Lodge and loved it from the minute we were greated by Ericka. She was even there to wave us goodbye. I am so glad I managed to find the name of that singer for you Ericka. We had an Atlantic Suite, the Agnes Suite. It was marvelous, including the hot tub....

Lovely location and fabulous food in a hill top setting with wonderful ocean views. A very calm & private environment with great ambiance . An adult hotel only hence a quiet and exclusive stay is guaranteed. The dining room creates a wondefully exotoic feel.

We had a superb time at Ngala Lodge and we have no doubt that it is the best place to stay in The Gambia. We travelled with Gambia Experience and were very pleased with Titan Airways and the option to upgrade to Star Class which was well worth it and more than paid for itself. We were treated perfectly and...

We have been home from Ngala Lodge for two weeks and frankly we are suffering from home sickness. Why you ask - because Ngala has become our second and much loved home. The greetings we received from the staff team were unbelievable and our room had been decorated with fresh flowers. Added to this was the complimentary bottle of Prosecco...

This was our second visit to the property. Since our last visit the infinity pool has been added along with the Maconda suites. We stayed in Ngala Manor but this time we chose the Penthouse suite. My, this is a very artistic abode, downstairs living room, upstairs bedroom and bathroom and then up another stair onto the roof terrace. The view...

An excellent boutique hotel with spacious suites, comfortable beds, a very good restaurant and good facilities (for The Gambia) including two pools and a private beach with good service, helpful staff who are friendly with being over-familiar, and last but not least reliable WiFi. A medium-haul flight and no jet lag from the UK. Ideal for a few days winter...

We stayed at Ngala Lodge in April 2016, which was a very quiet time of year. We were given The Sayenoh Suite which was beautiful. The gardens are fantastic and the birds in the bushes and trees are amazing first thing in the morning. I was woken with some really exotic bird calls which I loved. Our room had a...
