We were going fishing and were traveling. It served its purpose, it was clean and the management was friendly. It was also nice and quiet. Its close to town but not where it gets crowded. The only issue is the size of the shower. My friend is 6'6" and I'm no midget.

After labor day, the north fork is STILL booked up! Impossible to get a room last minute, fortunately Drossos had an opening. They were nice enough to give us a Saturday stay, while many other places required a two night minimum. As I type, I realize the walls are TOO thin... I can hear everyone next door. But I love...

A lovely family setting near many attractions on the north fork Family owned for over 50 years. They are very proud and keep things neat and clean. They are very responsive to your needs. Each unit is set up for families or friends with a very large full kitchen. The mini golf course is fun and there is a snack...

Likes: Retro, throwback style (old, but clean and well-kept). There are rosebushes and a small stoop outside each room. Our queen bedroom (#6) had a mini-fridge. Dislikes: Thin paper bath mat, no shampoo. At most, 4 rooms were rented, yet we were still next to neighbors that we could hear through the walls. The mini-golf, though mentioned as open to...

I am a world traveler, but always on a budget. We want friendly, comfortable, live and let live, not competitive, pricy, and arrogant. That's why Drossos, though dated, comfortably fills our bill. And you couldn't find a kinder inn-keeper than Minnie. An open, airy room on the main road with a complete kitchen, pleasant view, surroundings and landscaping. I stayed...

Stayed there last week for the second time. We had a bigger room with a full kitchen and day bed. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had a microwave, coffee maker fridge, sink and stove. Minnie, the owner, is a wonderful host and always pleasant to us. She remembered me when I called to book for Labor Day weekend...

We have been staying at The Drossos Motel since 2012 and visit each year to celebrate our anniversary in June. The owner is always happy to see us and she makes us feel at home, which is what their mission statement is all about. While there may be fancier places to stay, The Drossos Motel is our choice due to...

Situated under big shady trees and not too close to their mini-golf and snack bar, the Drossos Hotel is family-run with lots of love. We stayed for 10 days. The kitchenette was immaculate and well-stocked, the air-conditioning great if we needed it, and the room very quiet. Minnie, our hostess, allowed us to put our bikes and kayak around the...

Stayed here for one night and the room ended up having no heat. It was a chilly night and I barely got any sleep and I had to make sure my 9 month old stayed warm. When I called to let them know that there's an issue with the heat and if there was any way we could get some...

This place is disgusting. I can't believe it has not been closed by the board of health. The bathroom in room #10 was go gross we couldn't even take a shower. My photos speak for themselves. A few of the rooms have been renovated, so if you must stay here, I would recommend one of those rooms otherwise, you have...
