This is a very cozy hotel. We were in town for a wedding and enjoyed our overnight stay at the Queensbury. The rooms are very small, typical for an older hotel, but very clean. The furniture is somewhat dated, but still comfortable. The front desk staff was very friendly. The bar was quite busy, but the band was extremely loud... More

This was our second stay at the Queensbury. We really enjoyed our stay. I understand it is under renovation however we're not disturbed and were unaware. The room was clean and quiet. We shared our room with another couple and we're quite comfortable. The bathroom was small but clean. This is a very charming hotel. If your looking for ultra... More

Glens Falls' Queensbury Hotel is having a renovation that will befit its long history and its beautiful lobby. It is located right in the center of this interesting, attractive, historic city that is welcoming and coming to life. The rooms have had bed-and-bedding replacement and we had a comfortable suite, a good night's sleep, and adequate continental breakfast. The rest... More

Magnificent, Beautiful, Extremely Convenient Hotel" I can't say enough about this hotel. It was so beautiful, and the staff was so friendly and professional. I have been to many different hotels but staff here, like Nathan and Mike were so professional and courteous. When I saw the room we were first given it lacked the view, I had a view... More

A throwback to the past with large hotel rooms and bathrooms. Room (2 queen beds) was on top floor looking out on a city park. Nice bar with drinks and full menu (good food!). Hotel going through renovation - not a hindrance to staying there. Within walking distance of shops, restaurants.

My corner room overlooked Glens Falls and the park. Wonderful view and light filled room. Room was small and quaint. Bathroom was surprisingly large and roomy containing plenty of towels. I had requested a refrigerator for my room and did not have one. Went down the the front desk to inquire about the reserved refrigerator and the refrigerator was delivered... More

Quite an interesting hotel with 1920's decor, kids loved the restaurant and pool. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Close enough to six flags and shopping. Recommend for families and the budget friendly.

I stayed at the Queensbury while on a business trip. The room kind of reminded me of the movie The Shining, VERY outdated. The air conditioner was really loud and the door stuck. On the flip side I will say the new owners are putting in a fortune to fix up the place. There were workmen there from dusk to... More

The new owners of The Queensbury are restoring a beautiful landmark hotel to its former glory. There is a beautiful attention to detail. It's like entering another era. There is a lovely formality and charm in the lobby. The staff is so pleasant and helpful. They all seem very proud of their working environment and are happy to fill you... More

I read a lot of mixed reviews of this place, but when it comes to just a place sleep, it is like a mini adventure apart of your already planned getaway. Despite the construction happening in the hallway to the lobby, you can tell how rustic this hotel is and WAS back when the hustle and bustle of the Roaring... More
