We absolutely loved our experience at Somalisa Acacia. Our room was perfection. Between the decor, deck, outdoor shower, California king sized bed, charging stations and more, it was perfection. What really won us over was our guide Albert. He was by far the BEST guide we had on a 14 day safari between 6 camps. He was knowledgable, humble, funny,...

Stayed for three nights and just us for two of them. Nice old fashioned style of camp with a great host Dophus and a very knowledgeable guide David. Saw loads of ellies and lions. Water point opposite the dining tent.

During our stay at Somalisa Acacia I fell in love with Africa; the people, the landscape, and of course the animals. We were in such close proximity to the elephants watering hole that we were just feet away from them as we observed them from the deck. The accommodations were lovely with all of the amenities, staff could not do...

We stayed at Somalisa Expedition for two nights. All the time from we were picked up at the airstrip we had an amazing experience! The camp was beautifully located close to a path where elephants passed both day and night. They also came to camp to drink from the little pool. We could sit in the chairs just few meters...

Dear Nina Thank you for taking the time to review Somalisa Expeditions. It is the exact replica of the Somalisa Camp before the rebuild and remains the more rustic and simple of our camps. A place to truly unwind, forget about the worries of life back home and to immerse oneself in the beauty of the wilderness. We are delighted...

This African Bush Camp in Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe was booked through the ever helpful Justine at Rhino Africa. We were here the 2nd week of September for 3 nights (I highly recommend a 3 night minimum at any camp). Somalisa camp (we stayed at Acacia) is just amazing: the accommodations are second to none, service is personal and complete. "Everything that is here is for you. Just ask." The landscape is breathtaking. The animals: the lion prides, elephant herds, loping giraffe, all of it, surreal. And the guides are beyond knowledgeable and truly love to show you their world.

Dear Mike and Pattie Thank you for taking the time to review Somalisa Camp. We are delighted to hear you enjoyed your time with us. What a fantastic place! If you want to see elephant, and lots of them, then this is the place to come to. A very quiet camp (one of two or three but you would never know it) facing a waterhole so the wildlife come to you, and in the case of elephant, right up to the plunge pool. Very high...

Thank you for your stellar review of Somalisa Camp! We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay!
