The place is not another bland chain. I loved it and the staff was excellent. The rooms are stocked with old furniture, but clean. The bed was too firm and the pillow way too high, but otherwise a good place. Much better than the nearby Days Inn which I had to take to court.

We stayed at The White Inn to be close to SUNY Fredonia for my daughter's audition this weekend. We absolutely loved our charming room, had great service from staff and a yummy breakfast. I have a feeling, now that she was accepted on the spot, that we'll be back here many times over the next 4 years!!!!

Not sure where to begin. The restaurant and bar has closed down. The room is comically old and trashy. The carpet is disgust. Threadbare linens. The TV is a computer monitor. The bathroom sink is actually in the bedroom. Literally in the bedroom 18" from the bed. They don't come and turn down the room; bed isn't made, no fresh...

This place has a lot of character, filled with antiques and history. But the furnishings seemed delicate, the bar and restaurant were closed and the staff were not too knowledgeable about the area. TV reception was spotty (it was a windy snowy night) and we could hear traffic on the street outside until about 11pm. On the plus side, the...

We regularly stay here when we visit our daughter at the local SUNY school. There aren't many local choices but my wife and I really appreciate the friendly staff. I hope the out of state owners will be willing to put the time, effort, and money to upgrade this diamond in the rough.

The bar and restaurant are closed on Sunday's and the owner now has an apartment using valuable space in the old dining room. Would be such a shame to see this historic quant location close.......great history here, used to have a sign out front touting electric elevator.

The charm only slightly out weighs the complete lack of up keep. The beds are hard as stone, showers have mold and desperate need of paint! To our knowledge there aren't too many other choices, so good luck.

Our stay at The White Inn was amazing. From the friendly and helpful staff Kim, Alyssa and Amanda, to the well appointed rooms, the warm and relaxed atmosphere of the dining room and delicious food everything was perfect. We were able to have breakfast outside on the porch and enjoy the landscape which was in full fall color while we were...

My husband planned this trip on his own and he did a great job picking this hotel. The room was amazing. The building was beautiful. If you're in the area, I recommend making a stop here! It's nice staying in a small town hotel rather than a big chain!

Brittany Kiana and Kim were wonderful at the front desk. Very helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Beautifully restored rooms. Clean and we'll maintained. Centrally located. Walkable village with restaurants close by.
