The hotel is lovely looking, lots of hard woods, the rooms are big but the bedding is tired and the plumbing just plain awful. The shower was hardly a trickle, and the tub would probably take an hour to fill. It was taking so long I finely gave up however the shower could hardly remove the soap. Given the price...

Although a little dated (tv is tube not flat screen if that's any indication), the Inn was comfortable and the staff friendly. The Inn was convenient to my destination, that's why I chose it. Probably would chose to travel a bit farther out next time, considering the price. I expected a bit more for the money.

I recently traveled on Mother's Day and had a late check in. What started as a few night stay due to over booked rooms at my original hotel of has turned into my first stop. I visit the Syracuse area once a month for a few nights stay on business. Over the past year I have seen gradual changes in...

I was saddened by the condition of the 2 double bed room. The room was not what is presented in the photos on their website. The hotel has tried to make updates, but many areas are in need of repair/updating/deep cleaing- including the room that I stayed in. While they did address my concerns at check out with an apology...

We have stayed here before. The place is very nice. It's not fancy. The rooms are always clean. The staff is very friendly. The cost is reasonable on regular days stays, we went I've Mother's Day weekend and it was also colleges graduation weekend. The price jumped up. I was not happy but all the hotels did that in the...

I stayed here on a recommendation from a colleague. It is a place for small meetings and get togethers. Everyone was very nice the rate was very reasonable and the rooms very nice and roomy. Breakfast at the attached restaurant was very good. I would stay here again!

Dog friendly with thoughtful dog gifts. Nice shampoo, conditioner, soap. Very helpful lobby assistance in the evening. Craftsman building style was very enjoyable on the exterior and interior. Nice rocking chair. Our room was spacious and quiet. Great storage space and living space. Nice colors, white with green trim. The couch was clean, but smelled a little musty, likely from...

Our stay was very nice. I had stayed there before about a year ago, and I enjoyed my stay then also! I loved the comfortable beds and the little coffee machine too. The only thing I think that could be improved is the water coming out of the shower. It should be a little stronger, it is too fine, more...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The American Arts and Crafts Movement blossomed at the turn of the 20th century on the tree lined streets of peaceful villages in upstate New York. The movement was a personal and architectural revolt against the ornateness of the Victorian style. This Movement sparked a period of design characterized by simplicity, honestly and integrity. Here in Fayetteville, Leopold and John George Stickley created Arts and Crafts furniture using innovative construction techniques which have endured as hallmarks of the Movement. The Craftsman Inn is dedicated to these Craftsman ideals. Look around, the designs that inspire the building, the chairs and tables, the lighting and pictures, all evoke that ideal. Our Limestone Grille was launched in 2008 as the heir to our more stately Craftsman House. The Limestone reflects the 21st century evolution of these concepts as once again a desire for a simpler, truer, more authentic approach becomes prevalent. Our dining room and lounge reflect clean, Mission style design but with warm colors, classic furnishings, and contemporary appointments. Our service staff and bartenders provide friendly yet attentive service, knowledgeable without being presumptuous, helping to create the sense of relaxed comfort we all seem to miss so much of the time. That end result is what inspires us to do the best we can. ... more   less
