This was my first time visit to Kurumba Maldives. The experience here was amazing and the staffs of this property is very kind and friendly. The food was good but all together the stay and the property gave me the worth while experience. Such a nice place to relax and have a leisure trip.
This was my 4th Visit to Kurumba "Classic Repeater" and I must tell you it never fails to impress you. Right from the airport pick-up until you depart the service is top notch - Truly remarkable staff very hospitable but want to name a few - Mr. Abdulla Saeed at Reception alongwith Mr. Joy (Jainul Aabdeen), Jameel and his team at the Cafe and their Security Man Mr. Joshua - always smiling and ready to help. They make Kurumba which makes you go back to them again and again. Buffet is good but the Cafe food is amazing - everything we ordered was extra ordinary
Kurumba had the best of everything, service, staff (friendliness and attentiveness), location, rooms and food! Every restaurant we ate at, the food was absolutely top quality. Days by the pool and the beach were made easier by all of the staff, who really went the extra mile to ensure that we all had an amazing holiday! Thank you so much to Andrew and all of his staff at Kurumba for our stay, we would definitely recommend to anyone travelling to Maldives!
I am a 5 star traveler and indeed I do travel alot world wide. I look at small details, I travel alot and I only stay at 5* Hotels in different cities in different countries helped me realize that not only the big details yet the small details are very important extremely and that makes a hotel a 5* star. Kurumba Maldives indeed a beautiful hotel when talking about scenery, room size, facilities, and varieties of restaurants! Because of the Covid-19 I respect very much that you cannot leave the resort and your whole vacation is within the resort (which is very very safe) but I expected the hotel management to help visitors not feel that isolated feeling by the small details that I will mention below that need improvement: 1.) True there’s variety of restaurants, but not all open daily they rotate 2.) They don’t provide you daily tooth paste/toothbrush ( even though they know you have no where else to get but from them ) this should not be requested this should be a daily must in your daily room cleaning 3.) No loofah for those that use loofah ( again there are some that forget to bring thinking your an island and that it will be provided as one of your amenities ) 4.) Shaving kit was provided only at check-in ( which is wrong, it should be replaced daily ) 5.) Not once they provided a fruit bowl in the room ( which is common to provide, I traveled to Bali, Phuket, Malaysia,Philippine, Bahamas, Cancun, Greece, and so many more destinations in Europe ) We did have some issues with the buffet and the turndown etc, but I have to admit once you have an issue don’t keep it in just share it with the staff they are willing to be there to help you. If you notice I am being very honest with my review, I want to be fair. Mr Hassan , Mr Ali, and Mr Said were so helpful and made sure after hearing what we had to say they made sure to look through all the issues that we had. I will return back to Kurumba Maldives and I thank each and every staff at the resort, and a special thanks for always keeping our room clean Mr Mado ( I hope I spelled it correctly 🤦♀️) from housekeeping. And, Ms April at the night bar waiter ( she’s so so sweet ) All in all from my family I we big big thanks for all the effort that was put to improve our beautiful experience at Maldives 🏝🏝🏝…
Kurumba is best at services, food and entertaiment. Food is absolutely great, I recommend you too book in the restaurants and try different types of cuisine, for us the Japanese restaurant is on top. The water is of course great, just amazing. Just make sure you book a room with a view towards islands.
