The room was dirty (dirt crusted on the floor, a beer cap on the floor beside the bed) & moldy (door & window frames). The beds were terribly uncomfortable. The "heat system" was a really old space heater in the corner that had a cloth power...

The rooms leave a lot to be desired here. I had to change rooms once because if an insect problem. The second room the bathroom had an extremely dirty pladtic bathmat in the tub. It was stuck to the bottom of the tub so couldn't be taken out temporarily. We didn't even want to get into the shower.

Was our first trip here (for most of the family) Family vacation with 50+ people. No complaints, Everyone was extremely friendly and nice, lots to do for the kids, pony rides, rock wall, go-karts & mini golf (5 minutes away) water park (10 minutes away). Food was excellent, already re-booked for next year!

We came with our camper ready for a fun weekend with our kids, and ended up packing and leaving a day early - even though we had already paid $80 for another night. Yes, $80 for a CAMPSITE that was on a main road and covered in poison ivy. This place has no business calling itself a resort! The playground...

A disclaimer: I am an avid motorcyclist. The Blackthorne, a family-friendly camping AND hotel resort, hosts many large-group functions and is particularly hospitable to motorcyclist. This was my third stay at the Blackthorne in the past decade. The recent and ongoing renovations and upgrades are gradually turning this from a tired, old, and rundown facility into a genuinely classy, fun,...

Sleepy Hollow rooms are worse than a cabin .Bring your own sheets blankets and towels! Circuit breaker kept going out leaving us with no AC. And the showers are disgusting with rising water that will not go down. Please upgrade your rooms especially when charging a high rate for Rats Nest Run In which we drive 3.5 hours to get...
