What a great place to stay...within walking distance to downtown Corning. Our room was comfortable, breakfast was delish, we felt welcomed and I loved the old fashioned soap that was in our room... Suzanne was very delightful and made our stay very nice. Can't wait for our next visit!

We stayed here for two mid-week nights in September. There were no other guests, so Suz upgraded us to the nicest room. Both the food and the conversation with Suz at breakfast were great. We enjoyed the porch while we relaxed at the end of the day with our afternoon cookies and beverages. Suz provided great suggestions for restaurants and... More

Suzanne was very accommodating. She shared some great stories along with providing beneficial information about the local wineries, breweries, and distilleries. Breakfast was phenomenal (and so we're the cookies). The house itself was very nice. The majority of it was original, along with a few upgrades. Lots of photos of the original home owners and local glassware are present throughout... More

Stayed during the Wineglass Marathon Weekend. Suzanne was a wonderful host providing great insights and tips during our stay, providing a great breakfast, and treating us very well the morning of the marathon and afterwards as we moved slowly back after the run. The house is a well decorated 1855 era home with very nice rooms, quiet, well maintained, and... More

Came in noticed an overwhelming smell of Frebreeze. Staff were nice, room was clean. As with any B n B you are taking a chance because it's up to the owner to do as they want. Room was nice, a touch musty but nice. Overall it wasn't a bad experience.

Febreze is an added fragrance used in many cleaning products. We use a product called “Swiffer Wet Sweeper with Febreze” to clean all our tile floors, especially the entrance hallway. If a guest informs us that they have certain sensitivities or allergies, we will always take measures to insure their comfort. We pride ourselves in pampering every guest. I believe... More

Rosewood Inn should definitely be your lodging of choice when in Corning! The innkeeper, Suzanne, was a marvel--she anticipated our every need--and I'm not an easy guest! I have a number of food allergies which make life complicated, yet she carefully composed a splendid breakfast with lots of delicious and healthy components. Our room was comfortable and spacious. We even... More

What an amazing stay at the Rosewood! The Inn is STUNNING! Beautiful home, beautiful rooms, and simply incredible hospitality from Suzanne. We were welcomed not like guests but instead like family and were very well pampered throughout our stay. Our room (#5) was impeccable. Breakfast was very tasty and included fresh fruits, fresh muffins, sweet bread, Greek yogurt, and an... More

For the price you pay here, you are better off at an hotel. The house is old (1855) and needs updating, especially the bathrooms, which are 1960's style and quality. But if you old houses which are quaintly decorated, you will love this. The owner is very nice and helpful; and stand-up comedy missed a talent in her. The breakfast... More

Rosewood Replies: Built in 1855, we are proud that our inn is located on the National Historic Register. We are also happy that bathrooms have been added to each guestroom since that date. Though not Ultra-modern, they are clean, functional and reflect the style of and older home. Yes, warm muffins and breads are part of our breakfast menu. We... More

My son and I needed a place to stay on a very busy weekend in Corning NY, and the hotels were packed. We found the Rosewood Inn online, and they had a room with twin beds, so I booked it. The Inn was beautiful and Suzanne was an excellent hostess! We were very comfortable during our stay. Our room had... More

B & B is within walking distance to downtown. Inn is old but lovingly cared for. Suzanne is a classy innkeeper...friendly, knowledgable, hospitable. Beverages available throughout the day and evening. A magnificent breakfast is served in the dining room with fine china and multiple courses. Suzanne had many suggestions for activities to do, and could recommend restaurant options and offered... More
