My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay. Our bedroom and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The owners were extremely nice and accommodating. They told us all about the area, where to go and gave us great coupons. We slept late and they even offered to give us a private breakfast! There is a nice porch where guests can sit...

Phinney House has a great location with the Hall of Fame, and the main street of Cooperstown very close. It was easy to leave our car in the yard and walk to the village. Our room, which was nicely furninshed in period furnishings, was on the front of the house, and although we could hear passing cars, since we slept with...

This B&B is well-located for a visit to Cooperstown and you can walk to almost everything - The Baseball Hall of Fame, the Otesaga Hotel, the lake, restaurants, even the Farmer's Museum and the Fenimore Museum if you don't mind a good mile walk. The bedrooms seem to vary in quality - I have heard that some are redone, but...

I stayed at the Phinney House for two nights with my 9-year old grandson. We had a wonderful time at the B&B and in Cooperstown. The B&B is a close walk to everything in town which made it convenient to go and come at our leisure. The breakfasts were special and my grandson really enjoyed the Dutch Apple Pancakes our...

We recently spent our first night at a quaint B&B in Cooperstown. We were focused on heading the the Baseball Hall of Fame and popping in and out of the local shops, but we were amazed at how quickly Jim and Charlene at The Phinney House both made us feel at home as soon as we entered the house. They...

Location: Perfect -- only about 2 blocks from the flagpole in the center of downtown Cooperstown and 3 blocks from the Baseball Hall of Fame. Located on Elm Street -- quiet and tree-lined. The House: A beautiful old saltbox house with off-street parking, broadboard floors, lovely furniture and rugs, a cozy livingroom with fireplace and clean, spacious rooms. The Hosts:...

The Inn is perfectly located to walk to the MLB Hall of Fame as well as downtown for dinner. The neighborhood is cute too. The house is comfortable, Jim related the work they did to restore the house, most impressive. Charlene's breakfasts were superb, very relaxing and filling. The sitting room was nice, huge windows all over. Lots of books...

We stayed Aug 10-12th at the Phinney House with a friend for a combined visit to both the Hall of Fame and the Glimmerglass Opera. Our host and hostess, Jim and Charlene, were wonderful- they work hard to produce a truly wonderful breakfast, the rooms are clean and neat and nicely decorated without being too cutesy and they really go...
