We have stayed here several times and every time is a pleasure to be there. The campground is always immaculately clean and well maintained. The bathrooms are spotless. Most campsites have a beautiful view of the St. Lawrence River. There is nothing better than to be sitting at your campsite enjoying a fire and watching the ships go by on...

Very helpful and informative regarding the local area. We also felt that they really are there for the camper, doing whatever was needed and even more than what is required. Very nice campground. Will definitely be back again.

We stayed at this campsite for two glorious nights. Loved the view of the water from our site. Very friendly and accommodating owners and fellow campers. The sites were well maintained. The grounds and bathrooms spotless.

Nice spaces in a grassy meadow with views of the river. Next to a great cute waterfront town of clayton. Friendly hosts who explained the area and made great recommendations for sightseeing. Will come here again. Be sure to see Brandt castle and take the two hour 2 nation boat cruise.

This is a wonderful small campground with awesome owners! It has a great view and speaks relaxation at every moment. Very convenient to just about anything in the Thousand Island area. We have stayed here for both business and pleasure and there is nothing that compares in the area to the outstanding all around comfort that this campground and the...

Yeah there are a lot of permanent folks, but the owners also cater to the transients. Jim took me to our site to make sure we like it and we would fit. No problem. He helped me back in and all was good. The showers/restrooms are a little dated but clean and functional. Great view of the river. Everyone was...

We went to this campground for August long weekend. It has alot of seasonal sites, 2 camping cabins, and a few service sites. We found the campground to be quite clean, and pretty well maintained. However, it was very quiet with the majority of the guests being senior citizens. We also found the owners had closed down the game room...

We went with a group of 4 campers. Jim took the guys on a tour of the campgrounds and to show them where our sites where. We were all camped across from each other. Joanne took care of final payment, even offered us good sam's club which gave us 10% off our sites. We stayed for a week. They also...

We are a 43ft fifth wheel and when we arrived we were nervous. But Jim the owner takes everyone to their site in the golf cart shows you around and then takes you to your site with your rig. The trees are trimmed well so that we had no issues maneuvering down the hill toward the lake, grassy sites...wonderful place.

This fall was our second visit. Merry Knoll is a great place for Canadian campers wanting to do some cross-border shopping. It's a nice campground, just over one of Ontario's least congested crossing points and only 20 miles to Watertown. We'll be back for sure!
