This was our first B&B, we loved the experience and have been converted. The rooms were clean, the bed very comfortable the food fantastic. Breakfast featured warm pastries and muffins, fresh fruit and berries, and a wonderful menu. I had berry crepes with fresh whipped cream, my husband had a pineapple coconut home made bread made into french toast. The...

The entire staff appreciates such a fine review. The rooms you mentioned (6 - 9) with the porch or balcony are very popular in the Summer & Fall months, each with a view of the rear gardens and the relaxing sound of the small fountain. We often find guests so relaxed they end up taking a short nap. I would'n...

Asa Ransom House reflects it’s mid-nineteenth century character, with many antique furnishings and décor in keeping with its historic nature. The grounds are lovely, including a pond with fountain at the rear that can be viewed from the guest rooms at the back of the inn. If you book one of these rooms, you will have a porch/balcony where you...

We visited the Asa Ransom House recently for dinner. It was a Saturday night on which they offer a 4-course price fix menu. At first we were a bit concerned about 4 courses being too much food, but the courses were very well planned as to amount of food. The prices vary by main course selection. All courses were excellent,...

We spent a night this week at the Asa Ransom House; outside, it was the coldest night of the year, but inside it was warm and wonderful. We were greeted with a platter of fruit and cheese, and unwound in a lovely room (#4). Music was already playing when we arrived, and we turned on the fireplace for a totally...

The entire staff appreciated your review, inspiring them to continue giving their best. The gluten free menu has been very popular, and now we are creating a vegan menu. This winter the guest room fireplaces are especially popular, including the tables in the dining room by the wood burning fireplace. Guest like yourself often compliment us on the soft relaxing...

Had occasion to spend a three-day weekend in snowy February. The warmth of the owner and staff totally overcame the cold outside! The inn is richly appointed with elegant décor, yet not stuffy--very comfortable. My room had a lovely plate of fruit, cheese and crackers, with soft music enhancing the evening. The fireplace was a welcome addition! Plenty of bath...
