This was our first time ever staying at a b&b and it was wonderful. We were looking for a quiet country weekend and this exceeded our expectations. Mark and Sheila were perfect hosts- warm, welcoming and helpful, but not intrusive. The house was lovely- exactly what I picture a country home to be. Our room was comfortable and the breakfast...

Our first trip to the Great Tree Inn was with good friends and we had such a good time that my husband and I took the trip again just to get away! The Southern Tier Brewery and the Wineries helped to decide where to go but it was Mark and Sheila's hospitality and the beauty and homeyness of the Inn...

My husband and I stayed one night at the Great Tree Inn and had a wonderful experience. The innkeepers greeted us at the door and gave us a tour of the building all while projecting a friendly and welcoming demeanor. Our room was quaint and well-decorated. Lovely additions like a fireplace, comfy bathrobes, outlets by the nightstands to plug our...

Not sure if it was the fresh country air or the hiking I did but I slept like a baby. A very comfortable B&B with really great hosts that made my husband and I feel right at home. Loved the animals and the fact that my eggs came from the chickens on the farm made my 'special request' breakfast taste...

We stayed two nights at the Great Tree Inn while attending programs at the Chautauqua Institute. At first, we were disappointed that we couldn't stay on the grounds of the institute but this B & B more than made up for the short (less than 10 minutes) drive each day. Mark and Sheila (the owners, innkeepers and cooks) were very...

My wife and I really enjoyed the Great Tree Inn. The hosts were genuine and caring people. They breakfasts were great. The rooms were clean, tidy and well kept. The inn resides on a working farm with horses and other farm animals. The charm of the place makes you feel welcome! The close proximity to Chautauqua was a great plus....

Four of us stayed at the Great Tree Inn and B&B for four nights in July, 2014. The proprietors are a wonderfully warm and welcoming couple who deliver great breakfasts and hospitable, attentive service. The inn is a working farm with animals as friendly as our hosts. We were close to all we wanted to see: Chautauqua Institution (the closest),...

My husband and I recently stayed overnight while visiting the Chautaugua area. We found the inn very comfortable and quiet. The hosts are very welcoming and warm. However, after the initial introductions and tour of the delightful common areas of the house and our room we did not see them again until breakfast. Mark served a wonderful breakfast. We are...
