Our venture to Pollywogg Holler was more about curiosity than looking for a retreat. We did not spend the night there and did not see a "hotel" room, but we did spend the afternoon/evening hanging out and we had a blast. We saw plenty of people dancing outside under the stars (including ladies with glowing hula-hoops), drank some of the... More

A short hike in the woods to a cool rustic place with great wood baked pizza wine beer and music. If you like to hike there are trails ponds and a lot of neet things along the way. We go over a couple times a year

From the small hike through the woods, to the art that lines the beautiful green foliage!!1 It is very rustic and unique. The owner made all the out structures, tables, chairs benches and more. I found it very whimsy and charming. We enjoy fresh organic hearth oven pizza fresh from the oven. Purchased a bottle of overpriced wine but heck... More

For an area that struggles for a unique experience, this is a good option. A short walk on a trail through the woods brings you to the Holler. A bunch of small hand crafted wood buildings with limited services have the makings for an entertaining afternoon, booze and music in the rustic outdoors. A complete cross section of people and... Location, artwork, music, and food wise pollywogg is all great however the service was NASTY. My first time there, unfamiliar with the policy on carrying wine glasses on the grounds, I asked the bartender (female, burnett, medium build with eye glasses) if it was okay to go on the trails with the wine glasses. She snarled back "why, are you... More

Okay but nothing special. Be prepared for a hike and wear lots of bug repellent. Food was good but prices were excessive especially for small pizza. (Only food available) Drinks prices (beer and home made wine by the bottle) were average. Band was good but there was a small cover charge.

My husband has been telling me about Pollywogg Holler since we met but has not been able to make it back since 1999. Well, last week, we finally were able to make it there and I am so so glad we did! We went on a Wednesday night to see some live music and enjoy fresh homemade pizzas and local... More

We recently visited the site, it is a very cool place, lots to see, lots to do, great for kids, but God forbid do not show up early, the camp officially opens at 1 pm on sunday and we had an elderly lady with us so we wanted to be there before it opened, the camp is about a 15... More

Not sure why people can come to a business & do whatever they wish?? The cover charge goes to the band & what bar/restaurant have you ever been to that allows outside food to be brought in. Sorry you were not happy with your experience, but we will continue to enforce our business policies for all customers. More

What happened to Pollywog Holler? As visitors over the years it was really sad to go today and find it so run down and the new hosts so grumpy. No food was available and although out party had spent over $100 in cover charges and drinks, and although we tried to buy food on site, we were then told off... More

“The Sauna Loft is by the neatest place to stay. Confirm you will actually be staying in the lodging you request and are confirmed .... some may not be open or in working order and you may be surprised when you get there. Some lodging is run down ... muchmore than in the website (ie: Love Shack)”
