This was my second trip to the Okavango and I wanted to try a new camp. Pom Pom was a great choice. It was much smaller that the camp I stayed last time, Moremi Crossing, which is a very good place. The thing I really liked about Pom Pom, in addition to being less busy, was the variety of activities...

We have just returned from Pom Pom and I cannot understand the recent post about poor staff. All staff were very nice, helpful, kind and try to accommodate every wish. The facilities and rooms are very nice comfortable and quiet. Pom Pom offers a very nice private setting with a few tents and wonderful views with private hippo pool. Plenty...

We stayed here in August for 4 days and had previously heard great stories of this camp. After several trips to Africa before it was to be a highlight to eventually stay and see the delta! Upon arriving at Pom Pom, we encountered the staff singing on our approach. At first it seemed a beautiful way to be welcomed into...

Pom Pom is one of the original tented camps in Botswana, located along the side of a lagoon in the Okovango Delta. The sung welcome prepared us for what was a very special stay in this wonderful place. The "tents" are timber structures with canvass walls, complete with toilet, bathroom and (curiously, but wonderfully) outside showers - but don't worry,...

Pom Pom Camp is terrific! It is a tented camp. - that's right, you sleep in tents! - but tents are complete with timber floors (but canvass walls and roof), electric lights, a ceiling fan, flushing toilets, twin ensuite hand basins and outside showers with loads of hot water (what we in Australia call "glamping", or "glamorous camping"). Note that...

My children (ages 10 and 12) and I stayed at Pom Pom for three nights in August. We had a truly amazing time. Rams and Lake were our guides and they were terrific - we saw loads of animals with their help and learned a tonne. In fact, all of the staff were great, very welcoming and helpful. The lodges...

I greatly enjoyed my time at Pom Pom. It is a beautiful camp in the Delta and there are plenty of activities and wildlife to be seen. The staff were great and very accommodating of special requests. They give a personal touch by socializing and dining with guests and even housekeeping and kitchen staff interacted with the guests which was...

I only spent one night at the resort, but in my short stay I encountered luxurious accomodation, accomodating staff (who fitted my itinerary around my flights in and out), knowledgeable guides, and good food. Managed to squeeze in a motor boat tour of the delta, evening game drive, and morning canoe trip before flying out. Staff joined guests for meals...

This was our second safari but 1st in Botswana. The tents were luxurious and comfortable and looked out over the water with a lovely private decked area. The shower is in an outside private courtyard which was a little chilly in August early morning and late night. Unfortunately for us there were generator problems so we didn't have a hot...

This camp was our first stop in Botswana, coming from Johannesburg. Andy, who manages the camp with his wife, insured our comfort and safety. LT (for lion tamer!) our game driver, was good but once gave fallacious information on the so called rain tree. Why the guides wouldn't figure out that eventually we would get the right information is puzzling!...
