My wife and I have had the good fortune of visiting Duba many times over the years in many seasons. It never fails to absolutely meet or exceed expectations. The camp is being rebuilt and the temporary facility was excellent. The new camp looks like...More

We had a wonderful time at Duba Expedition camp. We spent New Year's Eve, and my daughter's birthday there, and everything was organised with tremendous attention to detail, far beyond the call of duty. For instance, Jessica, one of the camp managers and a celebrated...More

We are planning a visit late May. We have been there before, but not when flooding was a problem. During May, are we going to be able to drive around or float around with access cut off to Paradise Island?

Hi there ! This year we are focussing on opening up that part of the concession. Given the amount of water that is in that area, year round, we would only be able to access Paradise Island by boat. We have been doing a lot... More

Hi there Dixon In essence the answer is relatively simple one - Duba Plains offers great wildlife viewing year round. As we are in a natural environment the wildlife dynamics change with each season. The animals are resident to the region too. Traditionally folks would argue that in the hotter months during summer the game viewing tapers off. We are finding that some of our best game viewing experiences has taken place recently with recent guests raving about their stays. Trust this answers your question and assists you in your decision to come stay with us. Remember that when you combine a stay at Duba Plains with the Great Plains camps in the Selinda Reserve for a total of six nights between the camps you receive a complimentary helicopter transfer Best regards and can't wait to have you stay The Great Plains Conservation team
