Overall a fantastic guest house in a great location Facilities are good. The house and rooms are very well cared for and the owners are passionate and very helpful and willing it give all the info you could ask for. We have been fortunate to stay here previously, and it was great to be welcomed back. Everything was as before, which is not always a good thing, so it can feel a bit dated, and the bed still creaks, but the service which we received more than made up for it. Even though it was quite when we were there,...

A traditional Dutch style house with welcoming hosts. Short easy walk to 2 or 3 wine tasting places and an excellent breakfast. The rooms were quite plain but fine and the beds were pretty firm. Port was provided on the rooms, a nice touch.

Superb location , watched the sun set over the mountains and vineyards from the big old fashioned "stoep" . Excellent service and attention to detail by our host. Roaring fire in the lounge to welcome us home after dinner setting the scene for a cozy after dinner local port . Comfortable warm bed and room . Great stay .

Lovely house, beautiful lounge which was nice and warm in the evening. Nice room, but....: the bed was a little slack & the room was cold. I don't get these electrified metal plates that South Africans screw to the wall & think they warm anything other than the bricks behind them. Lovely huge bathroom, but no proper shower? Nice people...

We went to church one night whilst visiting and met his wife, she sat behind me in church, also, lovely lady! The rooms are very clean and fresh...

The guesthouse is clean and tidy, the best area is the pool and the rose garden. The host is really funny and definitely a fan of Nigella! The rooms are somewhat antique and could do a little refurbishment. Breakfast is really nice with homemade jams and muesli, fruits etc
