A wonderful night spent at Soeterus with Jamesley being the prefect host. A beautiful location with well appointed rooms and a great breakfast. Very quiet and peaceful smallholding with sheep and Guinea Fowl right in front of the rooms. Highly recommended!

We stayed here for one night when we were on our way to Cape Town. The rooms are very nice decorated, good bed and a basic bathroom (but absolutely nice shower). Break fast very good. I would assume one of the most nicest places in Calitzdorp.

We stayed here for one night when we were on our way to Cape Town. The check in was very friendly. The property is nice (beautiful and well maintained) and the rooms are decorated with taste. Not so much restaurants in the village, but the one recommended to us was ok.

Spent the night in this charming guest farm. James the owner was charming and very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas and if he advises you to visit Peter Bayley's vineyard just get in your car and go. We slept like babies and awoke to the two sheep grazing outside our door. After a hearty breakfast we set off with firm...

James was very helpful and welcoming and the rooms spacious and comfortable. The view and surrounds were beautiful with an inviting swimming pool. The food was delicious and I believe there will be some mountain bike rides organised from here shortly.

We had a lovely, comfortable room with lots of thoughtful amenities and we enjoyed the rural environment and great swimming pool area. Our friendly host was very helpful and made us feel extremely welcome.

Lovely farm location with beautiful rooms. Good breakfast but no dinner available. Pool and loungers available to relax and enjoy the tranquillity. Good host and had long chats over breakfast with him.

We had a great stay with Jamesly and his team at the Soeterus Guest Farm. It was an ideal setting for our 1.5 year old son, who was able to roam around freely and play with the resident animals. Jamesly and his staff looked after us very well, and even set us and some other guests whom we befriended up...

I find it difficult to do nothing when I am on holiday. At Soeterus Guest Farm I forced myself to do exactly that and it was great. A swim early morning. After that a really nice breakfast. The rest of the day, lying next to the pool or sitting on the patio next to my room. I bought some books...
