We stayed at Ulusaba for 3 nights (and 6 game drives) at the end of a South Africa holiday, and what a great way to finish! The team made us feel like part of the family right from our landing at the airstrip, through to a farewell 3 days later. The service was attentive throughout and nothing was too much...

For the last leg of our South Africa honeymoon, my husband and I stayed at Ulusaba, largely due to the TripAdvisor reviews, online pictures, and the Richard Branson name. I worried that our experience couldn’t possibly match our expectations, and I was right … it far exceeded them! Ulusaba managed to give us a luxury experience in the most rustic...

We stayed at Safari Lodge and Rock Lodge for a week in November 2014 and it was exactly what we expected + that extra bit more that makes this places really special. As some mentioned before, the Rock Lodges have a breath-taking view of the scenery, while in the Safari Lodge you are set more into the scenery. We prefered...

Ulusaba Safari Lodge was our first stop on our honeymoon in SA. When we arrived at reception we were greeted with a warm welcome and mimosas. From that moment on we knew this was going to be a special trip! When we arrived a Safari Lodge we were greeted by Knox who was awesome! We were introduced to the lodge...

Not much to say that others have not already said. It is a very special place. We saw all the big five, in fact in just one of our drives we saw them all. Food was fantastic, highly recommend dining privately in the wine cellar (well the balcony) it was very special. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the staff...

We've stayed at Virgins' Kasbah Tamadot, and visited Mont Rochelle, so expect a lot from the brand, and we certainly weren't disappointed at Ulusaba. Definitely the best game drives we've ever done, our guides Sean and Shaun and tracker Jimmy were spot on, they really know their stuff, know exactly how to interact with guests and are all great assets...

We originally came for the game viewing, and that is great, big 5 in 2 days both trips. The rooms are great, but for us it's the people which make it really special. Everyone is really friendly, and the service is great. It's an early start for the drives, but it's well worth it. Michelle and Don our ranger and...

Second visit to Ulusaba, we split our time this time between Safari Lodge and Rock Lodge. Each have their own unique features but are both fantastic. Service outstanding, food amazing. The rangers and trackers are fabulous - a big thanks this time to Sean and Jimmy. We will definitely return for a 3rd visit and eventually bring our children when...

Re reading my previous reviews on ulusaba there's nothing to add... Other than the animal sightings are different and more fascinating every time as we continue to be taught about their behaviours by the superb Rangers and trackers and that combined with the fact we miss everyone who makes up the wonderful Ulusaba family the second we leave keeps us...
