Staff was friendly & very helpful. Breakfast was adequate but they kept running out of things. Staff replaced what they could & apologized when they couldn't. Room was clean & bathroom looked newly tiled. Walls were thin and the noise from other rooms & outside were bothersome. Overall it was ok for the price.

Thank you so much for your review. As you may know, we have just recently purchased the hotel, so a lot of work is being done. I hope it wasn't too disrupting to your stay. We are addressing the breakfast department, we don't like running out of food. I hope you'll accept our apologies. We have a long way to...

This place is wonderful, under new ownership. Very pleased with level of service. Everyone is pleasant and accommodating. Room was clean and very well appointed. The hotel itself is quiet and has a great location! Would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone!

The rates were good, the room clean but low budget. The breakfast was SAD. Not much available and the coffee was so weak it was almost clear. We ended up going to McDonald's. Their coffee is always good. We won't stay here again. For a few more bucks, there are plenty of better motels in Taos. The lobby was beautifully...

I would like to apologize for your stay at the hotel. As you probably already know, we have just recently purchased the hotel and are in the process of remodeling and retraining the entire staff. However, there is no excuse for weak coffee. I can assure you this will never happen again. There is a lot of work to be...

Checked in and thought it would be decent just for us guys for a couple nights. We were in town for a hockey tournament for my boys and the price seemed reasonable at $49 a night. I'm not sure it was though. The floors resembled the side walk of the Vegas strip. I don't think black was the original carpet...

I must apologize for your stay at our hotel. We have just purchased the hotel and are in the process for remodeling everything. The carpet, furniture, paint, linens, etc. Everything must go and be replaced. You caught us during the transition which will take some time as there is a lot to do. If you are ever in the area...

Had a nice room on the 2nd floor in the back - clean, with frig and micowave. Pool is in another building attached to lobby. Breakfast provided, quite a variety. Staff, owner, and service was great. Good pricing. Not far from downtown Taos along the main road.

Thank Bernadette L
Management response:

Thank you for the kind review. As you probably know, we are under new ownership and are working diligently to make our hotel the kind of place you want to return to. Our number one concern is "Customer Service". So it's nice to know our staff was very attentive to you while you were here. We hope you will stay...

This had to be the nightmare to end all nightmares. I would venture to say you had a very bad experience and this would be an understatement. I wanted to get back to you and tell you that the hotel has a new owner and the number one rule is "Customer Service". Things, like you experienced, will never happen again...

I checked out of my original hotel expecting to drive back to Albuquerque. Due to a project delay , I return to town to find all the hotels were booked up.as a last minute ditch I did a search and made a reservation at a hotel that was reasonably priced. My room was extremely filthy and the place is severely...

First off, I want to say that no one should have to go through what you went through. I can't even begin to apologize enough. Just so you'll know, the hotel is now under new ownership and we are working non stop to upgrade and correct all the wrong that has been done to our guests. Our primary concern is...

Okay, the rate for El Camino was a bit lower. The savings was not worth the trouble. There was a common theme at this hotel, 'we are trying to save a buck....at all cost.' First the overall look of the hotel is run down. It is clearly understaffed, on several occasions I found the front desk unmanned. This is a...

Management response:

Let me just start out by saying, this had to be one of the worst experience you have ever had. There are not enough words in the dictionary to apologize appropriately. The good news is, the hotel is now under new ownership, and we are in the process of remodeling, painting, updating and redoing pretty much everything. We're rebuilding and...
