Just returned from my second wonderful trip to Taos and my boyfriend and we were lucky enough to stay at the Hacienda del Sol this time round. We stayed in the 'El Pueblo' room, a charming and rustic room with the most incredible view of the mountains and the cosiest bed i've ever slept in!!! We were made to feel...

Everything about about our experience at Hacienda del Sol was five star except the needed up grade of the bathrooms and bed. All was clean and sparkly and *felt like home* but I don't want to dwell on a something that does not NEED to be the Four Seasons. They hit all the high notes such as a room that...

When we purchased the inn in 2006, we thought perhaps our guests would need televisions that were not in the rooms. We ordered them and then started listening to our guests who said it would spoil the atmosphere of our peaceful retreat. They were right. We have free Wifi and a flat screen cable TV in our living room for...

After reading the glowing reviews, my husband and I were a bit disappointed in the Hacienda del Sol. Still, it had several positive features. We liked the historic buildings and the grounds. The hosts were friendly, and it was nice to have several choices for breakfast. We also appreciated the drinks and snacks available to guests in the kitchen. On...

We value all our guest comments and listen carefully to anything negative. We strive to please all our guests and to offer a true southwest experience at our historic adobe. Granted, it has been warmer than usual this summer, especially in June, but we do provide fans for extra circulation and it dips into the 40's and 50's at night....

Great place to stay while in Taos. It was recommended from a dear friend and it did not disappoint. You really do feel right at home and like you are part of the family there. We wanted to get a piece of authentic Taos and we did by staying at Hacienda Del Sol.

This inn was very relaxing. The hosts made us feel completely comfortable, and we enjoyed the afternoon tea and snacks after several hours of sightseeing. Great breakfasts, too! We would definitely recommend this inn to others.

We started our Southwest Road Trip with two nights at Hacienda del Sol, what a lovely surprise! It was so peaceful in the courtyard, there are chairs to enjoy the views and always some sort of snack available in the main house. We enjoyed board games one night, and the hot tub another night. The room was great and clean,...

It's difficult to add any 'original' commentary that hasn't already been submitted by all the positive reviews here! Host family is delightful and engaging. Accommodations, setting, breakfast, etc. are all delightful. Recommendations given for dinner (Graham's Grille) were spot on for our preferences. It's a gem!

We had a marvelous time at Hacienda Del Sol. The hospitality was outstanding, the rooms attractive and immaculate, and the breakfasts very substantial and tasty! But the highlight of our trip was the cooking class the B+B arranged for us to attend just a short distance away. It was a night to remember! I highly recommend staying at this place...

This beautiful property could not have been more perfect. This was our first visit and we were delighted with what we found. The rooms are charming and comfortable. The main house is also beautifully decorated with colorful art work and treasures. The grounds are well landscaped with the background of Taos mountain to set them off. We were greeted warmly...
