This was our first trip to Taos. Upon recommendation from family, we chose to stay at Casa Gallina. From the moment we entered the property, we were greeted with personal attention by Richard. He took so much time in informing us of all there was to see and do. The Leghorn was a true oasis! We have lived and traveled...

Wow! Everything we were looking for and more. We wanted to find a place to spend some quality alone time for our 10 year wedding anniversary, and boy did we ever! Simply fabulous! Fresh eggs in the morning, homemade cookies and a bottle of wine from the best host in the world (Richard), fantastic views of the Taos valley and...

This was our second stay at Casa Gallina and it was as magical, restorative, and peaceful as our first, two years ago. The Bantam Roost is a wonderful getaway -- cozy, arty, homey -- and Richard is the perfect host. His combination of attention to detail; warm, welcoming demeanor; delicious treats; and overall sense of hospitality is the key to...

Casa Gallina is a wonderful B&B! My fiance and I had tried to stay here before, but it was booked in the past. We brought my inlaws to Taos to get away from the heat and just relax. Richard was an amazing host; so kind and friendly. He greeted us the second we arrived, gave us a tour of our...

Wonderful oasis in Taos! Very close to town center but in a peaceful, relaxing location. The casita is large with anything you'd need including amazing coffee and fresh eggs. Richard (host) is a doll with great recommendations for restaurants and activities; we truly enjoyed our stay.

We have stayed in many places, but this is right near the top. There are many reasons why I say this. Firstly, host Richard. He takes "welcome" to a new level - must have spent an hour when my wife and I first arrived not only explaining the inner workings of our casita but giving us all kinds of guidance...

If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing place to unwind then try Casa Gallina. Close to the Plaza, yet a million miles away from it all. A great place to kick back and enjoy the simple pleasures. The casita was an eclectic mix of fun southwestern art and furnishings, with all of the modern conveniences including a computer and...

Believe everything that you read in previous Trip Advisor ratings of Casa Gallina and Richard. They are all true. I cannot begin to put into words what a magical place Richard has created. It is evident that all he does is a labor of love. He ensures every little detail is perfect...and I do mean every tiny detail. Richard is...

Richard has brought all of his experiences and talents to bear upon Casa Gallina. He is a thoughtful, gracious steward. The peace and grace of Taos seemed concentrated at Casa Gallina. It is easy to be overwhelmed by the majesty of places like the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge and Taos Pueblo. We looked forward to simply sitting on our back...
