Our trip to Taos was one of the most awesome of all the trips we have taken, made so in large part by the place we stayed. The place is called Casar Gallina and we were in the Leghorn suite. It was so great to have this incredible place to sneak off to, when we weren't busy sight seeing or...

I'm writing this on my final day at this wonderful property and I can't believe I have to leave. I could just stay here forever and be spoiled. We stayed in the delightful Bantam Roost a historic two story adobe. This property is in a rural location, very quiet and restful yet close to town. The decor is spectacular and...

After a 10 day Silent retreat in the wilderness, we were greeted by Richard with fresh local goat cheese, snacks, local fruit, chocolate, and wine in an incredibly romantic artisan casita. The surrounding green grounds with gazebo, hammock, bbq, fire pit, vegetable garden, fruit trees and outrageous flower gardens were a sight for sore eyes in transitioning from the wild...

Casa Gallina is not "technically" a B&B - there is no breakfast served each morning - but it is MUCH MORE! Richard provides fresh eggs each day from the resident hens - that's as fresh as they can get and they are delicious. Also beautiful - delicate pastel colors. Plus there is a garden from which you are encouraged to...

Richard is the most thoughtful and caring host around. Everything has been considered! His casitas are incredibly appointed in a global-meets-southwestern style. The property is manicured and yet naturally wabi sabi, sprawling and gorgeous. It's is an oasis in Taos. I can't wait to stay again. 40 gorgeous chickens just outside your window and the gift of their fresh eggs...

Fabulous 3 nts at Casa Gallina! The 2 BR-2Ba unit was the only available space for the 2 of us, but it turned out to be just what we needed. Spacious and lovely at every turn. Gorgeous gardens, lovingly tended, and incredible interior space with kitchen for preparing freshly gathered eggs and vegetables fresh from the garden if desired. Casa...

in fear that Casa Gallina will become so popular that we'll have trouble booking in the future. Probably the most wonderfully relaxing vacation we've ever experienced. Been coming to Taos for over 50 years, but fell in love with it all over again during this stay. The moment we walked in the door, we knew this was a very special...

There are nothing but positives to say about Casa Gallina: the property is amazing, the casita (we stayed in Bantam Roost) was gorgeous & comfortable, & our host, Richard, was warm, gracious, & generous. We took a couple trips out to see Taos & the Taos Pueblo (which were both great), but mostly stayed close to home, reading, relaxing in...

Casa Gallina is a beautiful oasis hidden just beyond the lazy streets of downtown Taos. Even before we arrived, I knew Casa Gallina was the right choice for a romantic weekend. Richard was fantastic in helping me to pick the casita that was perfect for me and he was patient as I went back and forth on choosing a reservation...

Our casita was so beautifully appointed down to the last detail, we did not want to leave it to explore Taos. What ever you read on this site or Casa Gallinos's website, expect more. You will not be disappointed.
