this is a property I would avoid. made reservation on line and it stated rooms air conditioned with hot tub. checked in gave my credit card and proceeded to the room. I was sent to a room with no air conditioning in July, ground floor with ripped screen and no hot tub. Went back to office to report the AC...

My sister and I stayed two nights at the Sun God Lodge while visiting Taos. We were very unhappy with our stay for many reasons. 1. When we returned to our room on the second day we were there, neither key we had been given worked when we tried to enter our room. We had to drive back to office,...

The mattress was old and sagging. The rooms do not have air conditioning and this was not the best for this time of year. It was a bit warm. The ice machine was broken and management did not make any provisions for ice for the clients. I cooler with ice would have been an good alternative.

The charming older and beautifully photographed motel it was not. We drove into the courtyard and a huge pile of building trash was in front of us. We went to check-in. A customer, a workman wearing a safety vest, was arguing with the receptionist over his weekly motel rate. What we heard for more than 10minutes at the reception and...

We have stayed here several times over the past 18 years and were very disappointed to see how much it has deteriorated. It lacked General maintenance, broken lamps, missing light bulbs, tears in the sheets and the towels were ragged. We will not be staying here again.

booked the room through expedia and when we arrived the hotel had not gotten the reservation confirmation number. counter staff was courteous and found us a room after about an hour delay. Room was nice looking however the A./C did not work, the hot tub was broken and not useable. The washing machine was broken so all they provided were...

I'm disappointed to write this because the front desk staff were so friendly (I've listed service as "poor" because of the appallingly early time the housekeepers showed up on a Sunday morning; see below), and this *used* to be a good budget motel option in a town that can be expensive. Our mattress was like sleeping on a slide; a...

I made a last minute decision to stay overnight in Taos and most places were full - or $300 a night. This hotel sounded ok so I took a chance and booked it through Expedia. Expedia said the price was special @ $89 yet when I went on the site I was charged $115 plus tax, etc. I have stayed...

A disappointment. I was looking forward to the character of an older hotel but they don't maintain it. The management is very inflexible about check in, I tried to check in 30 min early and I was rebuffed. I waited and the room wasn't even cleaned yet! I waited another hour and finally got in. The room is basic but...

I had reserved a room for two nights over the phone, but when I arrived they only had me for one night. They charged my card a flat rate, exactly 180. When I went to check out, their system "wouldn't let them print out an itemized receipt." The shower was unusable because it fluctuated between cold and scalding hot. The...
