This property is filled with character and charm and the location is fantastic. Check-in was fairly easy, my room had neat murals, and breakfast in the courtyard was a nice way to start the day. There were just enough little things that, in total, kept me from giving a higher rating...an extremely noisy AC unit and when directed to open...

The rooms were very unique and pleasant. Very close to square. Walking distance to all the shops and art galleries. Will definetly stay again. Great atmosphere and breakfast was very good. Sonrisa seemed small at first, but became our favorite room. Very highly recommended.

We spent just one night at La Dona Luz and it was delightful. We were greeted at the door by the owner Pablo's 90 year father Carlos who filled us in on the history of this beautiful home and helped us with lunch and dinner suggestions. We stayed in the Yello Bird suite on the main floor - so beautiful....

Great B&B in the heart of Taos in an authentic, historic adobe dwelling. The rooms are distinctive and comfortable. The owner, was committed to making our stay enjoyable. A really fun experience and unique experience.

Second visit and would not stay anywhere else. Each room is unique, the walls covered with art, tiled bathrooms. Paco and his staff are friendly and accomodating. Great location steps away from the plaza, galleries and shopping. Beautiful flower filled courtyard. Can't wait to come back!

We've stayed in Taos many times over the years but have never stayed here as they are always booked. We were fortunate to get in for a one night stay. We had the Santiago room which is spacious, jetted tub, windows facing the mountains. Very quiet and has evaporative cooling as well as a corner fire place. Would highly recommend...

Ten stars!! The most unique place we have ever stayed. The entire building is a huge art gallery. Attention to detail is everywhere. Paco is a great guy & has worked so hard to create a great inn. We had the unique experience of getting to know Paco's father, Carlos, who entertained at breakfast with wonderful stories & was outside...

Stayed three nights in the Yellow Bird Deer Room. Nice seamless experience. Clean rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Saw Paco, the owner, once for half a second. The place you're staying has a wonderful history. Right off the Taos plaza. A little tricky space-wise for stowing away luggage. This was my very first BnB vacation (ie staying only in BnBs), so...

Staying at La Dona Luz really enhanced our Taos experience. This is now our favorite B&B in New Mexico. It's very homey and warm, and really helps you feel the history and culture. The location is great-- easily walkable to everything downtown, with easy off-street parking. Paco, the owner, is a really nice, friendly guy-- he makes you feel instantly...
