Great location across the street from the plaza. This Inn has alot of history. The ambience is funky artistic adobe. Conveniently downstairs has a full bar with good food. Live music in bar area is every night 6:30-9:30 (mountain time) this can be good if you are energized, however if you are on central or eastern time and tired from...

Loved staying here and the ambiance of an old inn. Each room is unique and cozy! There is live music in the lobby and the front desk staff was amazingly helpful! I would definitely recommend staying here.

Always stay here because of the live music nightly in the lobby. We were coming back from eating around 9:30 pm and the lobby was packed. Asked the waitress WHAT UP. She said Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins is going to play a surprise set. Sure enough in he walks and he plays about an hour. Blew me away....

I have been disappointed with our past hotel experiences in Taos but the Historic Taos Inn was much better. Plenty of the old southwest charm but still well maintained, the staff was very friendly & helpful, walking distance to downtown shopping and it has a really good restaurant & fun bar on site. Our room (#312) was spacious, clean and...

My sister and I stayed at the Historic Taos Inn for one night during a road trip across the US. I chose the corner room overlooking the bar area for the atmosphere and great price. The front desk clerk was cheerful, even after lugging our suitcases up and down stairs. The room was comfortable and cozy. To our delight, we...

We booked several rooms for family. As always, a very pleasant place to stay that is close to the plaza and galleries. Live music and good food. Get a feel for the very historic architecture and culture.

Went there on Friday night and they had a wonderful jazz band and outstanding food. It was great atmosphere and highly recommend. The service was great and chili relleno amazing. It was best relleno I've ever had. 2 big thumbs up.

Michelle at the Front Desk; outstanding with assisting me to fax;and assimilate last minute work details; food okay (somewhat overpriced); last night there went to Lambert's.....Issa (do not know his role there) assisted in helping clean my car from the unexpected snow storm...why I and a friend stayed longer...Love the Taos Inn...always been a "go to" place in the Land...

The rooms are clean, historically comfortable and centrally located. Doc Martins is a good restaurant and so is the nightly entertainment. The parking lot is ridiculously muddy when it's not frozen. They also need to upgrade the doorknobs and locks on the room doors.

I booked my room at the Inn sight unseen, never having been to Taos before. I was there in early November, so the weather was late fall dreary. The Inn was everything I had hoped it would be from my impressions of the website. A unique, quirky, quaint, and cozy place to spend a few cold rainy days in the...
