Mosetlha is a wonderful place. Superbly run by Monica the camp manager. Very comfortable, welcoming and ideally located in the middle of the reserve. Our guide Jonny was brilliant. Always in the best place, at the best time for the best sightings and photo opportunities. He has amazing knowledge built up over nearly 20 years at the lodge. And a...

Another fantastic trip to Mosetlha. Wonderful people. Great Food. Best Location in the Reserve - being in the middle! Brilliant guide - Jonny is unbelievable! He always make sure you have the best light - so great for photography. The camp is a great experience, tranquil and restful. The showers are huge fun. Wonderful sundowners - always planned in the...

Just returned from a lovely relaxing weekend at Mosetlha! It poured with rain pretty much from the moment we arrived to the moment we left - which was so great for the area as rain is desperately needed - and we only managed one drive out of three as a result. But this was actually a blessing in disguise as...

Dear Briony L I am so glad you had a lovely relaxing time despite the rain! I am still laughing at your description of your Monopoly game as "savage" - has to be when siblings are involved :) We look forward to your next visit when in need of soul food. Thanks again and best eco regards Caroline Lucas

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were so well looked after at Mosetlha.Caroline and Chris really went out of their way to ensure we felt welcome and wanted for nothing during our stay. The camp itself was clean and comfortable, with a lovely rustic, easy going atmosphere. While the rooms were basic, there was nothing...

Dear Sheila396 What a lovely review - thank you so much! Thank you for touching on pretty much every aspect of the camp - and the drives. The fact that only lodge vehicles take game drives really is a huge plus in terms of the quality of game viewing. Thanks again. Best eco regards Caroline Lucas

I was not at all sure if I would like this type of bush experience but it was the best few days holiday ever!. The staff are wonderful and we had the most exciting game drives. The food was really great and the overall experience of living out in the bush should not be missed. My whole family went and...

A bit about us. We are typically budget travellers. We have been on numerous self-drive camping safaris over the years. This was a treat ending a 35 day journey. We would recommend two nights minimum, three would have been better. The set up. Your eco cabin is perfect. Open sides, nice ventilation, solar for lighting. Ablution block is a few...

Dear ernieLoomisCa Thank you for such a long, detailed and really kind review about us! I should just forward this to people asking why they should choose Mosetlha! Thank YOU for choosing Mosetlha as your treat at the end of a very long trip - and for your birthday celebration ... And for saying "the food was prepared with love,...

This ecocamp is the best you can get in the whole country! They call theirselves "bush camp", but in fact the luxury we had during our 2-night stay was of the highest during our full trip. The beds are great, the huts you stay in are authentic and have everything you need. The food is beyond amazing and tastes just...

Dear LauraCrmrs Thank you so much for your wonderful words! You have captured it exactly - it's the atmosphere rather than bricks and mortar that makes your stay there so great. I always say Mosetlha has soul, I battle to find words to pinpoint what makes it so enjoyable - it's a feeling. (And it doesn't hurt that our guides...

After 9 days in the Kagaligadi Transfrontier Park we spend 3 nights in the Mosetlha Eco Bush Camp. We were used to sleep on top of the car in a tent. We don’t like fancy places and luxury in the bush. If you look for the same experience, you have to visit Mosetlha. The camp is basic, there is no...

A very well run camp well located in geographical center of the park. A true eco-lodge so not for someone wanting air con or to spend time on internet rather than enjoying where they are. The camp is not truly fenced but does have wires at elephant height to keep them out - pretty much anything else can wander through...

One of the best experiences I had in Africa. Staying dead-center in the Madikwe Game reserve, great lodges and atmosphere in the camp. Seen all the big five during our stay, sometimes literally just outside the camp! This is not your luxury 5-star Spa resort, this is as ECO-friendly as possible and you get the feeling you are part of...
