We were in the same situation and decided to stay at Matla. Best decision ever. Staff is fabulous, rooms are so much better than at Tau and you still have a small water hole in front of the main building to watch animals. The staff is from Tau so very experienced and wonderful. The game drivers are awesome. I am trying to find a way to go back.

Good day, at the moment it is not that cold yet, so a jacket will be enough it is only in May - July that you would need warmer clothes. We also provide blankets on the landrovers should you still need some extra warmth.
