My family and I stayed two nights at Riverdene in Shamwari, It's an outstanding place where you feel extremely comfortable! Wonderful safaris with our Ranger J.J., who explained us everything very clearly! Amazing the amount of animals we could see! Stayed 3 nights at the Eagles Craig Lodge and it was simply perfect. I stayed alone in one of these luxury accommodations and felt very privileged. Everything, from check in, over the meals, the amazing game drives with very knowledgable rangers, the accommodation, safety , service.......until checkout....it was simply fantastic. I spent 3 nights at Eagles Crag Lodge and everything about this exceeded expectations times 10. The facilities, the service and the food were outstanding but it is game that called us there. thoroughly enjoyed a quick 2 day safari at Shamwari Reserve. it is an easy trip from Cape Town via a 1 hour flight to Port Elizabeth then a quick 1:15 drive to the reserve. the guide Jacques was fantastic and caring for the natural setting and the animals.

Our 25 wedding anniversary. Perfect in every way. Beautiful room, spectacular food, friendly and helpful service from all the staff. Beth, our game reserve guide, was brilliant - so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We saw our big 5/7/100! Amazing to get so close. Thank you

we stayed 3 nights at the shamwari resort. We did not expect it to be soo beautiful. Our indian Ranger Minu whom I highly recommend had such an amazing expert knowledge in nimals, plants, general nature.
