This was really an unforgettable experience! The staff is really friendly and the food is fantastic! The huts have no electricity, but you can charge your phones on the campsite, there is also wifi in the reception. It was nice to have running water toilet and Shower. The game drives were fantastic, and we saw all the big 5! I... More

We spent 2 nights in the camp and that included 4 game drives. We saw the big most times and all sightings were right up close, including 3 lions taking a buffalo apart, leopard 2 meters away from us. A great real bush adventure. Thank you Umlani and the staff. We will be back again.

Umlani Bushcamp was suggested by a friend, and we were not disappointed with her recommendation! The camp was all we had hoped for: the staff were lovely, the setting was charming, and the food was good. The abundance of animals was astounding. We saw the big five (lion, leopard, rhino, cape buffalo, and elephant) almost every day of our five-day... More

Umlani was the outstanding highlight of our honeymoon trip to South Africa. We received a very heartful welcome. The four game drives we were on were absolutely amazing - of course we saw all the Big 5. The whole team was not only professional, but also very, very nice. Awesome trip!

We spent e few days in Umlani Bushcamp. The equipment is rather basic mainly without electricity. The food was nice and the game drives twice a day were fantastic. We were lucky to see the big five on one morning drive.

Highly recommended if you are after a great game park experience. Fabulous accommodation which is in thatched huts, in an area largely open to access by wildlife. The staff are wonderful and very knowledgeable. Game drives are conducted with a ranger and a tracker in open jeeps, allowing the best access to wildlife. Food and drink were delicious and plentiful!

For 2 nights we were guests of Umlani Bushcamp and all of our group loved it. The drive from Orpen Gate to the camp was an experience alone, we came across a large herd of elephants and saw giraffe, buffalo, zebra, kudu and impalas. The camp is basic but comfortable and the lack of electricity in the rooms adds a... More

Its not cheap to stay here but the staff make sure that you will enjoy your visit to the utmost. The rooms are individual huts, which will sleep 4 as a family. The bathroom is open to the skies so you shower outside, a wonderful experience. All beds come with full mosquito nets. They charge per person, so if you... More
