After much persuasion I finally got my husband on a safari holiday...the experience was truly amazing..wild animals in their natural surroundings...no more visits to the local zoo!! We saw 4 of the big 5...and on our last morning safari before we were leaving..the elusive leopard.. 5/5 We did choose Gomo Gomo because of the watering hole & the possibility of...

We spent two nights here. It's a small lodge and you get individual service. On arrival you are met by your driver who essentially looks after you for your stay. Breakfast, lunch and dinner (eaten outside around an open fire) are all beautifully prepared and they are happy to accommodate allergies. You do have to pay for drinks and also...

From start to finish this was a most truly fantastic experience! We went on 6 game drives in total and each one had so much to see, Leopard, Elephant, Zebra, Rhino, Waterbuck, Steenbok, Baboons, Wild dog, hyena, Giraffe, Buffalo.... and on the very last drive a Lion that walked straight along the side of our Jeep. The Lodge itself is...

We stayed 2 nights in June, so we went on 4 game drives. The whole purpose of paying for expensive private game reserves is to see wild animals that one might not see on self-drive trips through Kruger. We were very disappointed with our experience. We saw very little game. This may have been due to the drought in the...

Spent 4 nights here and loved every minute. Overall we stayed in 4 game lodges in s. africa and this was by far the best. The staff act as guide, bartender, host, and expert. Their involvement in every aspect of your stay gives you a close bond and they learn what you like, want to see/do, and make it happen....

It is our first safari. So while we have no basis for comparison, we really appreciated how well the staff looked after guests. Our ranger Stefan and tracker Dominic made every effort to show us as many animals as possible. And we enjoyed listening to their stories of animal encounters. You will definitely not go hungry at camp. There is...

I went to Joburg for work and took 4 extra days to go on safari for the first time! My stay at Gomo Gomo was amazing, more than a lodge is like a family! The game drives were exciting, experienced guide and I felt safe the entire time. Important to note that Gomo Gomo is a private reserve, therefore it...

Thank you for an incredible stay. It was our first safari and exceeded all our expectations. Accommodation is great, with a fantastic outside area overlooking a small watering hole. Food was exceptional and plentiful. All the staff were great. Our ranger Ross was excellent, his passion for wildlife was evident and very infectious. He taught us a lot of things....

Absolutely amazing place & staff I cannot recommend enough. We came here as part of our honeymoon & having never been on a safari before we were both a little nervous & didn't know what to expect. We purchased Trip a deal package to South Africa ,this included 4 nights in Gomo Gomo . The photos on the website looked wonderful, full dams and lots of animals. When we arrived we were overlooking a near dried up mud dam. Disappointed to be told there has been a drought for 2 years. Our accommodation was ok ,food average. Our...
