We spent 3 nights at Gomo Gomo and it was one of the best experiences I've had. The guides were incredible and so passionate about what they do. We managed to see the Big 5 including a pride of 8 lions and 2 leopards feasting on an impala! The lodge was great with a huge deck overlooking a water hole...

We were made to feel very welcome here and on arrival the ranger ran through what to expect formally and professionally but with a nice casual way. Rooms- bushveld rustic is probably the best description and kept clean throughout. Comfortable beds although the shower was temperamental but hey we were in the sticks and it added to the African way....

We stayed at Gomo Gomo for 3 nights. The lodge is beautiful and the rooms are spacious and clean with little verandahs. Our room had a view of the waterhole which was visited by a hippo and a herd of elephants. The meals could be improved and was nothing special. The service was a bit slow...one morning it took the...

Guides were superb, as were all the staff. It's a lovely place but there were serious issues with the vehicles used for the drives. We broke down on five out of six drives. And had to push start the recovery vehicle on the last breakdown. Turning into a complete farce really. It detracted from the trip, worrying how long we'd...

My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. We went on 6 game drives and each one was so exciting seeing all the animals. Our driver/guide was Ross and he was so knowledgeable about all the animals and birds. Even getting up at 5am every morning was just magic!!! The accommodation is really comfortable...

Difficult to find initially as first trip to South Africa, beautiful scenery on the way. Greeted warmly and full explanation of game drives and meals etc. Lodges comfortable and clean . Meals and staff all very enthusiastic and happy. Special thanks to Dominic and Stephan who were totally dedicated to tracking down elusive wildlife, their enthusiasm was contagious. Night drives...

An amazing place to stay, small, friendly and very relaxing. Comfortable individual lodges overlooking the dam which is frequented by your neighbors. Wild animals from the bush. Great trackers and guides. Special mention to Ensilin and Dominick. Their knowledge of not just animals but all aspects of life in the bush made our experience so much more than we could...

We have just returned from a 2-week vacation in SA, during which we stayed one night at Gomo Gomo. A pity we didn't stay longer! The place itself is beautiful; the bungalows are comfortable and the staff really is dedicated to making your stay as good as possible. The little attentions like the lights turned on when you come back...

Had a brilliant time at gomo gomo.... Ross was great craic on your drives and really informative. We were really lucky and got to see four of the big five. The huge hyaena family and hippos was another big high light. Over all, the staff, food and accommodation were all great. Thanks To all

We have recently returned from 4 nights at the Gomo Gomo, during our 2 week tour in South Africa, and what a lovely find. Very friendly welcoming staff, amazing trackers and guides, beautiful lodge and 'apartment' overlooking the lake, lovely food and excellent wildlife viewing. Our 'room' was a lodge in it own right with very spacious sleeping area, large...
