I would like to point out key highlights, specifically for the itinerary planners in mind: 1. Wonderful property - with all modern and luxury amenities possible in the room 2. Personalized Service - one serving person is assigned for every family at the restaurants at the very beginning which takes care of you till the end of your trip. The... More

Luxury safari for excellent value. Big 5. Great staff, rangers, guides, etc. Food - where to begin? DELICIOUS. And lots of it. Game drive vehicles extremely comfortable. Optional add ons worth it. We did the spa as well as the endangered species. Tried to do hot air balloon, but cancelled due to weather. Spa was best massage ever had, and... More

My wife and I were there for a few days in September, and if your looking to see the big 5 then this is the place to go. We managed to see them including the leopard, outstanding. The staff at the camp couldn't do enough for us and as a wedding anniversary idea it was well worth it.

This was a trip we were both very excited about. We were celebrating 5years together and we were going to spend it at the prestigious Kapama River Lodge! Spa treatment was booked and management was informed of the occasion we were celebrating. As we were driving to the lodge we received a call to confirm the occasion we were celebrating... More

Without doubt this is a place you have to visit, from the moment we got picked up at Hoedsprit airport to the moment we left the service and experience was first class. We had 2 game drives every day for 4 days, our guide Lindi and tracker Bernard were superb, what they showed us and we're able to see and... More

I got to stay at Kapama River Lodge with a friend in Aug 2016 and i was really pleasantly surprised how great the safaris were and everything at the lodge was more than i expected. It is like a hotel in the bush and the lodge was full so there was a nice mix of guests. The staff was really... More

We stayed at Kapama Buffalow Lodge in September this year. The accommodation was lovely and spotlessly clean with a great balcony over looking the bush. It was disappointing that we could not drive off road to find the elusive leopard we could hear in dense over growth but understandable as the light rain they'd had over the previous two days... From the time we were picked up at the airport to the moment our group of 20 left the lodge we were treated with brilliant animal viewing, food and customer service second to none. How our tracker picked up a leopard in the dark by just a twitch of its tail I will never know. All the staff we asked... More
