Singita Boulders Lodge is set along the banks of the Sand River in Singita's privately owned reserve within the Sabi Sand Reserve. The lodge is a celebration of the tranquillity, space, and light which flows throughout this incredibly vast area. Inspired by the geometry of the boulders on which it rests, Boulders Lodge is an inviting oasis where organic interiors integrate seamlessly with the raw African beauty outside.

This was the last camp of three on this trip. The other camps were in Botswana and were so amazing that I was not sure if this would stack up. We had been to Ivory Lodge nearby a few years back but Caroline from Roar Africa highly recommended this Lodge. Well this Lodge was

Dear 541pawani, Thank you very much for your great review of Singita Boulders Lodge! We are delighted to hear that you had such an enjoyable stay with us. The lodge is situated in a beautiful location on the Sand River and we are very spoilt with the game viewing we have, often seeing the infamous ‘Big 5’ right from the comfort of your room and our lodge decks. Our staff prides themselves on delivering great experiences for our guests and are always willing to go the extra mile. Chene is an asset to the team and we are very fortunate to have her. She sends her regards and hopes to see you back here soon, as do we! Warm regards, Warrick Davey. Lodge Manager - Singita Boulders Lodge

There is a cooking class at Lembobo but I’m not sure if kids can participate. I’d contact them directly to find out what activities are available for kids.

Although we did take anti malarial meds we truly didn’t need to, we went in September which is their Spring, still the dry season, and literally did not see even one mosquito. This was especially surprising given the fact that I am the person at every single gathering that gets destroyed by mosquitoes. So my recommendation is to go in their Spring - it’s better for game viewing as the thick green bush has not grown in, its not terribly cold in the mornings like winter (although bring gloves, jackets, and scarves because it can be very chilly first thing in the morning), and there are no mosquitoes. And you will absolutely love Singita!!!

I like the river suites. Ask for one NOT by the spa and communal pool and you'll be happy!

I don't know Lion Sands Ivory, however Boulders is fabulous...I am a compulsive neat freak, and everything about the environment was superb from the suite to the public areas...You use the word "sleek"??? Boulders is modern rustic using natural building materials like stone & wood...stunning!

"All cabins are amazing!"
"Any room is excellent there are only 12 all the same size. All have small pools"
"It's worth every penny. Be prepared to get up close and personal with animals. Big game can be just outside your room."
"The animals come to all the the suites , so while I like the river suites I do not think it is necessary, given the extra cost."
"Get a lodge with a view!"
