We absolutely love this property. The cabins are always nice and clean. The beds are super comfortable. We have stayed in all 3 of the smaller couples cabins and they are all wonderful. We feed the deer from the front porch, where they pass by at least twice a day. It's very peaceful.

My place to stay in Ruidoso. They are very friendly and accommodating. Cabin is always clean and comfortable. The upper canyon is decorated real nice for the Christmas season and there are plenty of deer around the area.

We loved this property! Upon arrival we were greeted with a smile, and warm, upbeat greeting. Our cabin was immaculately clean. Its size was generous. The bed was COMFORTABLE!! Wood for the fireplace was provided, and we enjoyed a fire each night we were there. There is a large open space around which the cabins are arranged and we enjoyed...

Close to town yet feels so remote- beautiful setting, super cute decor, very clean! Love these cabins! Will stay there again. Reasonable price for Ruidoso. Coffee in cabin, firewood, great water pressure.

Forest Homes are great place to stay. Cabin was great, nicely decorated, felt like home. Nice and peaceful area. It was also great area to see the deer and hummingbirds from the porch. Town is near and easy to get to.

Forest Home Cabins are awesome. Beautiful cabins. The grounds are nature. Hummingbirds galore. Tall trees, green grass and a doe that loves pizza crust. She came to visit me every morning. Ruidoso, New Mexico is part of the reason New Mexico is named Land of Enchantment. Coming back next year. My only sadness is no dogs allowed.

This place is beautiful, quiet and the rooms are very nice. Deer wander through the area frequently. They are close to other activities in Ruidoso. It is a beautiful area. We are already planning our next trip.

Cabins and grounds are very well-groomed and clean. Beautiful area. Easy access - close to shopping and restaurants. Cabin was 2 bedroom and 2 bath. Completely furnished - TV, internet and CD player. Booking, check in, and check out all went very well.

We came to Ruidoso to participate in a Pickleball tournament. The cabins are in a quiet area, and the scenery is beautiful. Lots of trees and nice grounds. Very clean, neat and tidy! Staff very helpful. This was our second time to stay, and we would stay again.

“Each unit is a stand alone cabin. The first cabins are located well back from the road. I would think any cabin would be nice.”
