About
Description
Inyati Game Lodge is situated in the western sector of the Sabi Sand Wildtuin which is a private game reserve sharing a common unfenced boundary with the Kruger National Park. It spans 50 000 hectares and is More renowned for providing some of the best safari game viewing in Africa. The reserve is not open to the general public with each private lodge having exclusive traversing rights over their area. Inyati’s rangers drive specially designed safari vehicles which are allowed off-road, ensuring you get exclusive and intimate game viewing opportunities. The reserve has a dense concentration of wildlife and is home to the Big 5 – elephant, lion, rhino, leopard and buffalo. Cheetah, giraffe, zebra, wild dogs and a vast variety of antelope and other species may also be closely observed, free roaming within their own territories. Inyati is one of the best places in the world to get up close and personal with the elusive leopard. Less

It was my first safari – what an experience, and the lodge was amazing.

We landed at Ulasabi airstrip, where the lodge picked us up. The lodge is 10 min drive from the airstrip. On our way from the airstrip to the lodge, we meet the first animals.

Check in was relaxed and every

This place is amazing. The staff are so welcoming. The cottages are lovely with all the modern conveniences. In the 4 nights we were there we saw more than just the “big five” on the game drives. Even saw many if the animals wander out front if main lodge deck. Our guide Gabr

Hi, are drones allowed?
Hi there, The use of drones is prohibited in wildlife areas and National Parks as it is felt that they would disturb the game, and other people on safari, thereby negatively affecting the experience for all. In addition, because of security concerns around rhino poaching, and safely concerns because of inadequate civil aviation laws, the use of unmanned aerial vehicles is illegal in some of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve.

Hello Marilu- We are planning a trip to Inyati for June 2018. Can you tell me if there were monkeys on the premises when you were there in June? The reason I ask is because we are having trouble fitting Jane Goodall's Chimp Eden into our schedule, so were hoping to see monkeys at Inyati. We're especially excited to see hippo and elephants in the river - did you see them? Thank you so much for your help!
There are both Vervet monkeys and Baboons in the reserve. You should get to see both. In addition and lesser known, other primates include the lesser bush babies and thick tailed bush babies.

Hello! I will be visiting your Lodge in mid-September and I couldn't be more excited!! Visiting Africa has been a life long dream. I was wondering if you provide binoculars during morning and evening safaris or if I should purchase my own. Thanks for your help! Best, Jennifer
Hi Jennifer Thank you for your message. We do not provide binoculars, however there is generally a pair on the game viewing vehicle. I would suggest bringing your own. Regards Leighanne

How many of the rooms accommodate 3 people?
Inyati consists of three family chalets, eight standard chalets. The family chalets have one kingsize bed and two double beds. The standard chalets have one kingsizebed which can be split into twin beds. In answer to you question, 3 of our rooms can be used as triples. Warm bushveld regards Leighanne Dawkins Inyati Game Lodge
