This is a "must stay" accommodation in Sabi Sand. Rooms, amenities, food and drink, service and game drives are all first class. Kevin, our safari guide, is outstanding. We continue to rave about our experience.
My friend and I visited Savannah on a whirlwind tour of South Africa! We had 2 nights booked here and unfortunately were too delayed to make our first game drive but wow did our remaining 3 drives make up for it!!!

I stayed in the "basic' luxury suite & it was fabulous, I don't think there is any need to pay the extra unless you are a family. The main difference that I could see was the executive suite had some "lounge' chairs & a coffee table which mine didn't have, but I didn't miss this at all, but I was on my own.
