The guides were knowledgeable and friendly. They went above and beyond to make a memorable experience for us. They drove right up to animals in the private game reserve. They are respectful of the wildlife while getting you up close.

Tydon Safaris drove us through two parks, the first one I should mention is South Africa's renowned Kruger Park which is a nice experience because you get to see animals that are less likely to see in Sabi Sands, like hyenas and hippos. Unlike Kruger,...More

We are thinking of going to Tydon camps this November 2017. Is that typically a rainy month? Would rather not go then if it is raining every day. Also as it it spring, are there more leaves on the trees so harder to spot animals?

I was there in late october and I would have welcomed rain as they were in a bad drought. November is supposed to be the beginning of the rainy season, but I wouldn't worry about it.

Hi, my fiancé and I are coming to Africa next September for our honeymoon. We are still deciding locations but bumped into someone yesterday who stayed here so thought I'd check it out. A couple of questions - is it easier to book this place through a travel agent or direct? What are the different camps? My main concern is that children are allowed here (I don't hate kids or anything, just not many people allow young kids so wondering what the difference is here) are they youngsters or just older kids? Don't want drives being spoilt by small whingey kids!
