We loved staying here! It was so clean and well maintained. The bath tub was awesome. The bed was really comfortable. So peaceful and the owners were so welcoming and friendly. I would definitely recommend it to anyone! Home away from home! ;)

We stayed here in March 2015 and had a wonderful time. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed, with a kitchenette for making your own food. Good TV reception. The highlight was the included breakfast, which was either a breakfast burrito or yogurt/granola parfait. We are from Austin and know from burritos, and I can honestly say this was one...

We enjoyed the peace and quiet here so very much. The Country Lace room was very beautifully decorated, and the jacuzzi tub was superb after a long day of mountain hiking. We happened to stay on July 3rd, and woke up to a fantastic breakfast on the patio, complete with 4th of July touches. Then we watched as the local...

Simply put: I love the Elk Mountain Lodge. I was in New Mexico for a wedding down the road, and after some searching around I found this place was well-rated, so I thought I'd give it a shot. The grounds are fantastic. Rustic feeling and very wooded... simply gorgeous. When I pulled in to the parking lot, I was immediately...

I found this b&b on an Internet search for the Jemez Mountains and thought it looked cozy. Also, it had great TripAdvisor reviews and was pretty affordable. Cabin rentals in the same area were similarly priced or more expensive and had cleaning fees, minimum night stays and no breakfast included, so we thought The Elk Mountain Lodge would be well...

We were welcomed by the great hosts and their dogs. We only spent one night but heard of great hikes in the area to hot springs from fellow renters. They provided us with a BBQ grill and a large pot from their kitchen. So bring your own food. The morning surprise was 6" of snow that no one expected. The...

The master bedroom in Tall Pines Cabin is huge and has four large windows that are high on the walls. You can lie in bed and look up the mountainside through giant ponderosas. There is a kitchenette with sink, mini fridge (turned out to be a mini freezer), microwave and two chairs at a built-in table. The bathroom has a...

My newlywed husband and I found Elk Mountain Lodge on TripAdvisor and upon arrival knew that it was the right decision! The staff are so friendly and made us feel more like family as opposed to mere guests. The cabin was phenomenal and the private hot tub was amazing, especially under the stars! We were completely impressed with the staff and location of this quiet little retreat! We were treated more like family instead of guests, which made us feel so comfortable during our stay!
