From the other reviews I'd read and from the photos on their web site, I had high expectations of the Cottonwood Inn. On arrival all the way from Bangkok, Thailand, I was a little concerned my expectations might be too high as the Inn turned out to be situated at a rather busy intersection along a highway. But once inside,... More

What a fantastic place to stay. Our room was spacious yet cozy and luxurious. From the bed linens to the beautiful tile work in the bathroom everything was wonderful and so much more....... It was apparent that a great deal of attention had been paid to every detail. The gardens and shared areas are beautiful, relaxing, peaceful, serene. And the... More

Shantal and Brantly are excellent hosts. The breakfasts and afternoon snacks are fantastic. Eva and "Winston are wonderful guard dogs. And Bernard is the best rooster ever. The Inn has a great location a few minutes from historic Taos, and 30 minutes from the ski lifts. Our only regret is that we couldn't spend more time there. Maybe we be... More

When people love where they are, what they are doing, and each other it shows. That's the case with Shantal & Brantly Goodwin and their Cottonwood Inn, just outside Taos. We just spent a long weekend with them, and are already planning our next visit. On arrival Brantly provided an informative and entertaining tour of the Inn. Classic adobe construction... More

Every time we arrive, no matter the hour, there is always a warm welcome from Brantly and Shantal and their two pups, Winston and Eva. The rooms are fabulous and super comfortable. Each room has shampoo, conditioner, lotion and... More

Brantly and Shantal are WONDERFUL hosts. Charming, engaging, yet also respectful of space. The food was all homemade and delicious. The bathroom products are also all handmade by Chantal! A perfect location for exploring the village, mountains and countryside of Taos.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cottonwood Inn. Brantley and Shantal are wonderful hosts; they made us feel welcome and at ease in their B&B home. Breakfast is a treat - with fresh eggs from Shantal's chickens - and if you are not a fan of hearty breakfasts, ask for Shantal's home-made yogurt, granola, and fruit soup. Our room... More

My husband and I stayed at the Cottonwood for a week long trip to snowboard in Taos. We greatly enjoyed the Cottonwood! Our room was comfortable, the common areas were welcoming with games and movies, and the breakfasts were amazing! We especially enjoyed the plum and raspberry syrups for some of the meals that were made by Shantal and Brantly.... More

I would recommend the Cottonwood Inn to anyone traveling to Taos. Brantley and Chantal were wonderful hosts. I loved the atmosphere of the house and the decor. We especially enjoyed the jacuzzi tub and the kiva fireplace in our room. We hope to be back again someday and stay longer!

“The Kiva Room, while small, does have convenient access to the commons room where the snack and hot drink services are available, and where there is a TV with video library, big sofas, and lots to read. This makes the Kiva both the smallest and the largest room on offer.”
