50's style old and quaint motel. Nothing to write home about but nice and cozy. The front desk woman was friendly, rooms clean and comfortable. No frails, no WiFi and no breakfast, but what can you except for the price.

Greeted at the front by a gentleman who dialed a cell phone and handed it to us .. grandpa spoke no English .. price was very reasonable after a short chat with a very nice woman .. we were given a surprisingly clean room .. fresh sheets, towels are a bit scratchy but usable .. fresh paint .. mixed tile... We loved this place, quite, tranquil, CLEAN, comfortable. It's a great base camp for exploring Chaco Canyon and other places. Had fun feeding the trout in the artesian fed pond. Breakfast was awesome and I love the green chile

No wifi. The only place you can get wifi is in the office, you have been warned. Rooms are very outdated but clean. Killed 2 scary spiders and a bug in my room while I was there. Full sized fridge is a definite plus. Private room is nice but would be better with a tv. Bed was comfortable. Dish is... More

My wife and I spent one night here and found it to be a nice affordable place to spend the night... The lodge is old but the room we were given just seemed to be painted and the bathroom area refurbished . I would stay here again if passing through. All in all it was a good deal .

It was clean but old. The service wasn't that great. The rooms were poorly designed with a very awkward 2" step out the front door and again down to the bathroom. An accident waiting to happen particularly for older folks.

I couldn't handle more than just a couple of nights from that awful chemical smell in the room. Luckily I had my CPAP machine to tolerate the Lysol sprayed smell of the room that hovered no matter what you did. I wondered if the spray was to cover up the dirty carpet or anything else that was not properly cleaned.... More

A simple mom and pop hotel that had everything we needed for an on-the-road-in-the-middle-of-almost-no-where overnight. The room was very clean, had good heat, fridge, microwave, flat screen TV. Had better towels, pillows, and sheets than the pricier chain hotel we stayed at in Albuquerque.

That would be about the last time these rooms were updated, furnished, or carpeted. As a retired hotel maintenance man I found way too much deferred maintenance (tattered & stained carpet, no door security, gas convection wall furnace, leaking shower valves, etc.). I have stayed in far less expensive rooms that were in much better shape. Sorry to land so... More

Cuban Lodge is a simple but clean motel at the south end of Cuba. If you want a bed and a shower before spending some time at Chaco Canyon, it's an excellent choice. Locally owned, friendly staff and decently comfy beds. The fridges and microwaves are handy, since there's not much in the way of food in Cuba after dark.... More
