We've been going to the Lodge for many and I'm talking about more than 25 years now. It's always been a warm and welcoming place but this time it was extra special. My husband and I finally decided to tie the knot after a quarter...More

This is a place I have been visiting since I was a kid. Obviously, if you have seen the photos it looks like some sort of European retreat, which is not very common for NM. It's historic and higher end, so don't expect the cheapest...More

Not at all. The A/C is great and there are electrical outlets in more than one place in the room. It is an old hotel of course, built in 1899 but the plumbing and (thank God!) electrical systems are modern. We recharged our iPad, phones, etc. with no trouble beyond having to unplug a lamp on one occasion. By "old" expect quaint, not antiquated!

We stayed in a king room but it didn't have a view of much of anything except beautiful snow out the window. Really loved this place though. Lots of history and even a ghost. The room was adequate size too.
