The Lodge reminds me of a typical very nice family-run hotel in Europe - built around the end of the 19th century, interesting, attractive, clean and comfortable. I was in room 354 and while there was not a great view from the window the room was very quiet resulting in a good night's sleep for each of the 4 nights...

If you wish to stay in a place that is quiet and beautiful well this is the place to go. You will the food, the coolness and most of all the clouds and also the stars when it is clear. You will not want to leave once u are there. The little town of Cloudcroft is a very welcome place....

We stayed at the lodge for a conference. We were in the pavilion but we knew that when we booked. We were told it was in walking distance although it is about 1/4 mile down the hill. The room was clean but felt quite old. Our friends were put in a house down the road about 3/4 mile away. Other...

First things first: Staying at The Lodge is all about its rusticity, charm and history. The location and building itself are unbeatable if you are in the mood for a true mountain getaway. The good: Far from a cookie-cutter hotel, this lodge has lots of corners, odd spaces and levels to keep you guessing. The lobby and great room are...

I did not stay at this property but I did walk through the place in the fall. It is perched on a high knob in the town of Cloudcroft. From the outside it looks like a place built at least 80 or 90 years ago......and a little long in the tooth. Upon walking into the lobby and the entry area,...

Our room was large enough for our needs. If you are in Cloudcroft you should be out doors. They have a wonderful golf course. My husband loved it. We are from Phoenix, AZ so was a nice change from our golf courses. Great heated pool. Lots of hiking trails. You can even go horseback riding. The lodge has Rebecca and...

We stayed here for two nights but on reflection would probably have been better staying for just one. Our booking was made back in April so we were rather surprised to see the room rate shown on the bedroom door was lower than the price we paid. We queried this, wondering if perhaps we had booked a package that included...

What a treasure! While it's been some time since I've stayed at the Lodge, my husband and I drive 16 miles up the mountain (from La Luz) at least once a week to enjoy their restaurant (Rebecca's) fine cuisine. We're never disappointd. They have great breakfasts with excellent coffee (which I'm particular about), good breakfast choices. We also enjoy lunches...

I was experiencing pain. The massage therapist did a great job of working the painful area, as well as others, to relieve the pain. I highly recommend Robin's work. Also, I was able to get in within a couple hours of contacting the spa. The atmosphere and furnishings of the spa were very attractive, and the price was very reasonable....

This haunted lodging was a fantastic stay. The facilities were very adequate with game room and volleyball court. Te staff was extremely helpful with any request we had and were very understanding. The room was clean and charming a friendly teddy bear guest.
