If you would like to experience what New Mexico was like many years ago, this is the perfect place. This is a very small intimate Hacienda, with old style rooms that feel just like my grand parents house. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms small, the wooden floors are creaky, the adobe walls are thick, and the kiva fireplace in...

We have loved this place for some time. The fireplace we always enjoy and love the in room breakfasts. 8 miles from Española in the hills. Somewhat rustic, but clean and comfortable. Have 7 rooms and we have been in several, but siete is our favorite. Mrs. Martinez always asks if we want reservations across the street at the Inn,...

A lovely, magical place. Rustic, so if you're expecting the Holiday Inn Express, look elsewhere. We stayed in the room with the big kiva fireplace. Muy romantico. Easy walk across the busy street to the Rancho restaurant, which was fabulous. The hacienda is a beautiful, relaxing place for a getaway.

I went along with reviews and pictures. We love B&B's but this one has 1 (maybe 2) nice rooms they use for the pictures and it is very misleading. Our room was not nice. The furniture was old, holes in the armchairs, musty - old bedding, bathroom ? Not really - a pedestal sink, no counters. It was not updated...

No wi-if. No TV. Beautiful courtyard. Comfortable, homey room. Glowing fireplace for an evening of warmth. Such a wonderful place to stay. Breakfast at Rancho de Chimayo restaurant. A restful hideaway from a hectic world.

Dinner across the street and cozy, comfortable lodging after a long day of sightseeing in Northern NM - could not have been better. The courtyard in the morning was sunny and pleasant, and the staff very welcoming. I've wanted to stay here for about 30 years -- the wait was worth it!

What a wonderful place. Of course the restaurant is great but to be able to eat there and then head over to bed is magical. And it's made even more so by the setting with its views if the mountains and beautiful furniture. And the mornings are lovely.

We stayed here 8 years ago and agin last week. Viola runs a tight ship and it seems that not much changes. It's relaxing, cosy, friendly, comfortable and directly across the road from one of the very best restaurants in NM. Breakfasts are more about sharing the beautiful courtyard with other guests than the food and coffee. It's all perfect!

We have stayed here twice - and both times were memorable. Make sure you ask for the housemade Biscochitos - yummalicious. The Kiva in the room was spectacular. The crystal knobs on the doors and the squeak in the floor were all part of the charm.

We had a very pleasant one-night stay here. You are staying in Chimayo and it is rustic. This B&B has no TV, AC and sketchy wireless service. But, we loved our room because it was large and airy and we had plenty of space to move around in. You can hear street traffic but it stopped before 10 p.m. then...
