I enjyed my stay at Hacienda Grande. Melody was welcoming and helpful with directions and local restaurant tips. (My personal fave, tamales at Abuelitos)She is also very knowledgeable about the history of the 200 year old inn as well as New Mexico. I was there for a conference so I was leaving too early to take advantage of her homemeade... More

The set-up is very nice in the Hacienda, rooms are very relaxing. Much better than staying in a generic hotel room. Breakfast is quite plentiful and very good. Too bad they don't serve dinner! Only watchout is the steps in the bathrooms.

My husband and I were so lucky that we discovered this charming small hotel. It is historic, quaint, and comfortable. The hosts are charming and extremely helpful. The inner courtyard is beautiful ,and during our stay another guest was heard playing enchanting guitar music. We were driving from Mesa Verde and thought we would stay in Cuba. Forget it. Bernalillo... More

My family and I just spent a marvelous week, renting the entire B & B for a family reunion. Troy and Melody gave us carte blanche to take over the place, to be able to play games on the patio, to hold a bar-b-que for a few friends and supported us in any way they could. The breakfasts were delicious... More

What a great place to stay. My family held it's family reunion during the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. We had wonderfully delicious breakfasts each morning, were close to everything we wanted to do, and had the entire place to ourselves to play cards, or do whatever we wanted. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!!!!

In July, we had our entire wedding (rehearsal dinner, ceremony, & reception) at the La Hacienda Grande and everything worked out perfectly. Melody did a thorough and amazing job organizing all of the vendors (caterer, bar, photographer, tents/chairs, DJ, etc), plus served as the minister. The entire wedding party and some out of town guests were able to stay both... More

La Hacienda is a perfect location to enjoy both Albuquerque and Santa Fe and still have a quiet tranquil place to get away from the city. The New Mexico Rail Runner station is only 5 minutes away and is, in our opinion, the best way to visit Santa Fe where parking is a huge problem. Melody serves an excellent gourmet... More

Ok, so it's been a while since I was there but the subject of New Mexico came up and it reminded me that people should be knowledgeable about this inn before they make a decision. Truthfully, once I checked in I had the total "willies". The innkeepers are very kind but 'hovered' and made me very uncomfortable. (They live in... More

We stayed at La Hacienda Grande as a group of ladies on a weekend retreat occupying all the rooms. Our hosts, Melody and Troy could not have been more helpful; helping us with special needs such as diet, rooming arrangements, places to eat, and attractions in the area. Melody gave us a tour of the 250 year old hacienda complete... More

We spent four wonderful days with Melody and Troy, and will certainly do so again. The hacienda was built in the 1800's and has all of the charm you'd expect. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was stocked with every soap and potion you could ever need. The bedding was comfortable, as was the rest of the... More
